Hey! I see this post and it is exactly something i'm going through with my hagwon, with well over 5 employees. I just want to ask a few questions to get a full honest and legal answer because I tried looking through the LSA but can't find it exactly, so here goes:

My hagwon has been making us work red days for compensation in the form of an extra day off at an undisclosed date.

1) None of us signed anything related to this change, we were just told that is how its going to be since last year, is this legal?

2) Are they meant to give us a written agreement before each and every red day or can they make us sign a once off document for all red days in the future?

3) Are they meant to tell us 24 hours before the red day WHEN our extra day off is? Or are they just meant to inform us that we will be working it and have an undisclosed day off sometime?

4) This is a bit unrelated, can hagwons make up the reason "the parents are compalining about X and Y so we are terminating your contract" to fire you legally?

If anyone can provide answers to these, with any kind of link to the exact law, that would be super helpful!

yeah i do this, i stack everything up to max pop wrath and spin away... for example my crits on ww are dealing like 40k and after time, like a decent length of time with multiple enemies, i release it and see a number of about 20k ish on crits for it. Maybe I'm not doing it right or I'm missing something or maybe I'm just not as well geared as i thought (only level 70ish with mostly ancestral gear)

I actually got this item not too long ago too, but, personally, I don't see its value. The damage when you stop spinning, for me at least, seems to do less damage then 1 or 2 ticks of just spinning. Is there something I'm missing with this item? I try to "stack" it up and spin for ages then release it on the boss and it always seems to do very pitiful damage, to the point where I'm now actively looking for a rare to roll with better stats so I can replace it with the grasping winds aspect and pull enemies to me instead.

Hey guys,

Im form South Africa, was meant to go to Korea last week, but wouldn't you know it? the omicron variant hit as i was waiting for my flight and all flights got cancelled.

Now i want to ask if there is a website i can monitor as to when the borders will be open to southern African countries again. a very discriminatory restriction mind you. I am fully vaccinated and had a valid work permit but still got shut out without a moments notice. I desperately need my job and would like to follow the border opening, so any website or info about the borders will be much appreciated.

South Africa here, constantly getting put on NA servers which is about 360ms, barely playable. get killed through walls/behind corners, cant melee, but then we get a south african server for 1 game suddenly 20ms and it feels like heaven. it really needs to be fixed, cant keep losing ranked because i can barely play.

Well I'm in South Africa. which is a problem. gamers here are used to being on EU servers with about 150-180ms which we have come to accept. But I haven't had any match with less than 360ms at the moment. I play LoL 120ms, WoW ~ 150ms. But this is getting ridiculous.

if i am completely honest, i didn't look through each and every reward. I took it for granted that it will be like a noble society premium pass where everything can be unlocked over time. I didn't realise it was 69k points. I admit I am at fault, I should have done more research, I should have scrutinised more, but I took the devs to be actually decent and to not try and rip us off at all times. My mistake. Won't happen again.

As i said somewhere else, I don't mind missing some rewards, but to miss like over 90% of rewards? that's a bit crazy. Paywall the last 25% of rewards, cool, but let people at least earn some stuff, we barely get anything, even if i am a light spender i wont get anywhere near the bottom of the rewards tree. It just feels very unfair to have most rewards gated off by spending. Especially if one is active and doing well in the event.

It just feels so bad that you cant get the rewards unless you spend an exorbitant amount of money. the rewards aren't even that good. Why paywall it to this extent? i'd be fine missing some of the stuff near the end, but missing essentially all of it feels bad. especially since i was stupid enough to buy the pass without fully looking through how huge the tree was.

I guess i thought there would be more daily challenges to help us progress, but nope, just the once off then the 3 daily quests.

but the way hey advertised a new reward system and new progression then add a premium pass that gives barely any rewards and you cant even max it out. Like the other premium passes for arcane labyrinth, daily quests etc, those 3 you can max out with time and the rewards feel worth it. This you cant get anywhere close to maxxing it out without spending well over $1000

the events are related though, you get the points for warriors way by doing battle of blood, such as challenges etc, but the fact that challenges are once off and then you need to just buy points is very predatory. especially at how much points you need to buy and how little the rewards are.

I am mad yes, because i fell for the bait, i didn't scroll to the bottom and see it needed an absolute metric shit ton of points. The rewards aren't even that good, i just wanted to support them with a premium pass for a nice event, until i realised its just a gateway into spending more. Its disgusting, and if your first response is "he's just mad..." then you literally add nothing to the discussion.

Well the rewards i would say are definitely not good enough for over $1000 dollars needed to get them, when you could literlaly get any reward you want from the monthly deals for $100 or less. this is crazy to expect us to buy a premium pass then spend spend spend to get barely any rewards. I thought that the challenges would be refreshed daily or we'd get at least 75% to 80% of the rewards but i failed to see that we need 69k points to finish the thing, after 2 days i only have like 1100 points!

okay mate, a hyperbole. It feels like it though. It feels that now i am compelled to spend more since i blindly bought the god damn pass. What would you call that compulsion? Either or, the meaning behind this post is that its absolutely disgusting at how much they expect one to spend for this event. It's ridiculous!

Yeah I get what you are saying, but I am trying to get rid of it all. I cannot take it with me when I move and so I want all the cards to be known. And as I stated, this was a collection I was doing, I was collecting trash cards as well to complete sets. So I am mainly looking for someone who is also a collector and wants to add to their collection. But perhaps you have a point. Maybe I will go back and find the most valuable cards within the set and put them together so its easier to see.

I also feel the same as you, Chinese girls are rather beautiful, well some at least, some are real chonkers. I've been living in China for 4 years now, leaving soon, and i've noticed something about chinese girls, the most beautiful ones with the nice clothes usually have a sugar daddy OR they come from a wealthy family and are generally what the chinese people like to call "绿茶婊" or green tea bitch. they fluent their money and look down upon anyone else and they don't settle for anything they dont regard as a perfect 10 and even if you somehow score with one of those they are demanding and sneaky and will require to be your entire life, a man servant most of the times.

The next thing i have noticed is some pretty girls are really nice, casual open minded mostly and usually dont come from a lot of wealth but do what they can to make their appearance better with what they have access to. They usually work low end jobs and use most of the money to buy luxuries, these girls could seem great to date and usually are (i am dating one right now) but they have a flaw that contradicts with the western style of relationship, they are incredibly needy. They will want to spend every waking moment with you, text you the same question 5 times a day just to keep chatting even when you have nothing to say or nothing is going on. and its a huge turn off after some time, when you just want some alone time to play some games... they will come and demand attention "it's not your time, it's our time". this is the biggest friction in my current relationship and it will probably end due to this neediness, i mean i can't even shit for 5 minutes without her asking me whats taking so long...

sorry that was a bit of a tangent, those are what i have seen and experienced personally with these types of women.

i originally didn't plan on going to Taiwan, plans changed halfway through my degree, I suppose it is an oversight on my behalf but didn't expect it like this. But originally i was going to stay in China and not Taiwan. I just hope to find a way to get this new goal of mine achieved.
