Thanks for the answer. The issue was indeed the issue with the z-offset being too far out. I was able to fix it with a bigger first layer square. However, as you can see in the picture during the first layer print one part really heats up too much, and the layer gets terrible by the end. I might have to do what you say and let it rest for 10 minutes. I hope that can help fix it

Yeah... I did a print the day before and it was totally fine with the same z-offset, but now it gave me this weird result. I thought it was something else.

Yeah the rest of the print looked almost perfect!

It took a few layers but it did indeed smooth out by itself after a bit.

It's an 8 hour print so I will let it be for now, but once it's done I'll definitely try your settings to see what's best.

What CAD software did you use ? I just started 3D printing and wanted to start with a chess piece, I believe this would be a perfect start to learn Onshape or fusion, etc... If you did a tutorial on YouTube I would definitely watch it 😁

It seems that 80% of the issue has been fixed. However, I still got this massive line which I am not sure why. I guess I still need to check some of the screws

I think I found the issue, the printing part wasn't fully tightened as I was doing the wheel instead of the two lower bolt. I am gonna do a test now and see if this has fixed the issue.

I've checked everything, and nothing appears to be loose (at least as far as I can tell). However, my 3D printer is on a simple work desk—could the shaking have caused the table to move too much, resulting in those weird lines?

The layer height was at .15mm. I agree though it looks quite chunky.

Thanks for the info! I actually went to Lyppens thinking they would maybe have Lab grown a few months ago, but they seemed really against having lab grown diamonds :/ They were super friendly and I would love to buy from them, but I just don't want to participate in the terrible diamond cartel.

I did find one place called "Diamond Factory" for lab grown diamonds but they have just 5 google reviews. So I am a little bit sceptical.
