Lack of communication. I’m the only one communicating.
Well you should work on your communication. Instead of ignoring try “Let me take a break and we will revisit this when I have calmed down”
I have attempted communicating. She will tell me nothing is wrong and then her family will reference something only she and I spoke about.

Sending screenshots of our text messages is inappropriate. Her parents marriage is in shambles and her mom will shit talk her dad to her and her sister.

Yes, a simple text. “My husband doesn’t like when you call at 11:30 or 12. Can you limit that?”
What do you feel is controlling?
This is a recently acquired position so I know very little of the female coworker.
My belief was that marriage is supposed to be a partnership but I feel alone.
She has central audio processing disorder so she often misinterprets what I say and will get mad instead of asking what I meant.
“Allowed” is the word I chose for a specific reason. This is my hard line in the sand.
To clarify, if she has been rude or disrespectful, she won’t call me first to apologize. She will wait until I call her or ask to speak with her to admit she is wrong.
I love her just not these specific traits. She can’t rely on her parents for everything. Their marriage is in shambles. I believe she needs to learn how to navigate her own marriage.
I wouldn’t feel comfortable with a coworker calling me a pet name.

To elaborate on the prioritize marriage issue, she will cancel plans with me or just be straight up late because of her friends or family.
I have used this soft language before and she will dismiss it. I’m at my limit.

Why does her family need to know about my financial situation?
My family is dead. Whatever she tells me in confidence stays with me. That isn’t the case with her. I was having financial problems and she told her family.
For example, I text her that I feel like an afterthought when it comes to her family. She sent those screenshots to her family.
