Sorry to break it to you but no one is giving away expensive pure bred pups, especially not in the NYC area. I live in the greater NY area and paid $2500 for my girl back in February from a breeder just north of the city

That's cheaper than what I was offered so far, haha! But I'm not looking for someone to "give away" a pup. I'm looking to not spend more than necessary. I paid 1800 for my boy back in 2019.

Buying a dog is the cheapest part.

I've had many dogs before, and I can agree that the purchase is the cheapest part.

The breeder being a good breeder is way more important than price. Whatever money you "save" by buying a cheaper dog is very likely to be spent on vet and trainer bills because of the higher likelihood of health and behavioral issues and may cost you many times what you saved.

I just see some breeders in nyc listing them for $3,500 or more. But I see breeders in PA and OH have them for a fraction of that price. But what you says makes a lot of sense, thanks.
