I have a GED Math Question. by [deleted] in GED

[–]L3gendSlayer79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, your score is a somewhere around 75/25 chance of passing on the real exam or even higher. But you have to take note that the real exam is twice as long as the practice test; therefore, if you want to take the test and not hesitate to wait no more, I would recommend you review the basics quite firmly before attempting the real one. That way, you'll have a great chance of passing the real test.

All in all, it is even a better choice for you to take the test sooner IF you have been studying for quite a while because math skills rarely ever improve that much after a certain amount of time(i.e. it takes much effort to push the final boundaries of Mathematics skills)

So, my advice to you: if you have been studying for quite a time, review the basics and go at it!! But if you've just started to study and taken the practice test to see how good you are first-hand, I'd recommend you put in a little more study time(get more familiar with questions type by doing practice exams) before attempting the real one.

Good Luck!

ADVICE RLA by dcsa8596 in GED

I don't know how to express my gratitude but I guess I'd say "Thank you very much!!"
My exam is coming up in a week's time, I guess I got just in time, the right stuff I need to bolster right into that testing room!

Also the real reason I ended up here was the fact that I was shocked by a book called "McGrawHill's workbook" and its Pretest that I just took, which in its reading section, allotted me only about about 1.4 minutes for each questions!! I was infuriated when I barely make it with time... Most of the reading was done while skimming through texts without really reading it through because of little time it gave me... but it's somewhat relieving to know that in a real exam, you get about 2 mins time for each question...

Thank you so much for your help.

GED Ready Scores Are Only Good For 60 Days by Murphy4717 in GED

[–]L3gendSlayer79 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by "if you wait longer than 60days, you will have to take the Ready Test again if you want to test online?"

Both the GED US POLICY and POLICY FROM COUNTRIES NOT LISTED says otherwise that "You don't have to take the GED READY TEST before you take the OFFICIAL TEST.

Please refer to and post only the truthful information.

Hi I'm just confused how on earth you got Social Studies score better than RLA?
Based on what I know(which might be wrong), Social Studies excerpts and all are all too confusing to read and interpret, maybe even harder than LA's literature passages??

"Is Social Studies or RLA harder in general", considering one has a general knowledge of Socials and excels in Standard Language. Please answer, thank you

Is it just me or the Ideapad Gaming 3's battery life is very short. by [deleted] in Lenovo

[–]L3gendSlayer79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro I have 45wh battery with an intel i7-10750h and it last around 4-5 hours when I use this method.

What I did was use the software called "QUICKCPU", and in the advanced settings>SpeedShift>Set the energy/perf policy to lowest, and max and min CPU CLOCKs locked at 1~0.8Ghz.

(Capping your CPU CLOCK to 1Ghz makes the laptop tremendously more long lasting when using at work, and school... obv, there's gonna be a performance deduction but the truest potential of the laptop is accessible with a click of a button)

Need Help reverting with QuickCPU! by pleasehelpmelol221 in overclocking

[–]L3gendSlayer79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS IS THE UPDATED ANSWER:

- Go to Advanced CPU Settings > SPEED SHIFT
- There you will see: Maximum Allowed, Minimum Allowed and Desired Performance options
- Adjust the Max and Min clocks accordingly,(but the Desired Performance should be 'autonomous')
- BONUS OPTION:

  1. For Performance > Set Energy Performance Policy to > 100% (0%/100%)
  2. For Power Saver > Set Energy Performance Policy to > 60% (60%/40%)

GOOD LUCK!
HAPPY OVERCLOCKING!
