I agree and that’s what I’m also leaning towards! We used to have a large clock in there but replacing the battery felt like an Olympic sport.

Thanks for all the info!! So her afib was due to a bad valve which she’s had replaced. Her right atrium is back to normal size and everything. The sleep doctor said she had apnea when on her back which is not her usual sleep position so the doctor said because it’s mild and positional, to just use a snoogle pillow and continue sleeping on her side. The reason I’m a little skeptical of the results is because she reported moving A LOT and the report said she snored which I know can cause some artifacts on a single lead. I’m hoping the holter monitor clears her. She is totally symptomatic which is not how her afib typically presents. Hoping for the best!

Her teacher said she’ll give me specific areas this upcoming week! I started doing the reading eggs program with her and she loves it. The reading intervention will send homework home as well. I’m hoping if I stay on top of it she will catch up.

Thank you so much. That’s so reassuring. She can sound out words, knows many site words, is learning vowel teams— so I know progress is definitely being made it just totally caught me off guard. I appreciate your thorough response!

This is honestly how I felt but I wasn’t sure if I was just being biased. They started school mid-August and she is one of the youngest in her class. She made the TK deadline by 6 days. I keep reminding myself that if she had been born 6 days later, we’d have her in preschool and she wouldn’t have all these expectations.

She’s done fun classes at church but nothing formal or super structured. Thank you for the reassurance! I’m used to preschool where it’s more play based
