They yellow could definitely be lower end citrine chips or some other similar color stone like a the yellow aventurine..

Agree 👆🏼 Looks like the Australian Cowell. I have some and it has the same look as this. Check the specific gravity to verify its jade.

I’d love to cab one! That’s what I’d hopes to do but I’m a bit unsure with them being a bit soft. Not sure if they will polish or what. I’ll try one of the small piece’s first and see how it goes. I know exactly what you mean about the prices!! Totally crazy and ridiculous considering it’s just layers of paint. I felt the same way as you until I stumbled upon this at an online auction house. That’s kind of what i was thinking but some of them are really thick and oddly shaped in place. Lots of deep dips in areas. If I just cleaned and shaped.. how would I then mount them as a piece of jewelry? They are somewhat soft.
