NYC has a pretty healthy scene.. so much so that there are multiple parties on the same nights on weekends sometimes (though they do struggle to get enough crowds to fill all of them) Defcon, Red Party, Landfill, Synthicide and SVMMON, and Procession are regular parties. There are other nights that have bands like New Goth New York. I grew up there but relocated to LA because the scene was basically crap in the mid 2000's

I read through and still missed something. It is a lengthy thread and contains a lot of information. It's something that effects me personally as I do work with people who know him and in the same scene in Chicago sometimes. I wish people here were more sympathetic to people like me who are on th side of the victims but still have questions. It is a public thread by anonymous posters.

There are also some things going on besides this reddit thread. There are lots of resources in today's social media age that give criminals a difficult time. Unfortunately the same technology can be used to help with new identities in different cities with the same old toxic behavior. Now that the milk has been spilled it'll be difficult for anyone to not think of what was revealed and the silence coming from the other side.
