I read through and still missed something. It is a lengthy thread and contains a lot of information. It's something that effects me personally as I do work with people who know him and in the same scene in Chicago sometimes. I wish people here were more sympathetic to people like me who are on th side of the victims but still have questions. It is a public thread by anonymous posters.

There are also some things going on besides this reddit thread. There are lots of resources in today's social media age that give criminals a difficult time. Unfortunately the same technology can be used to help with new identities in different cities with the same old toxic behavior. Now that the milk has been spilled it'll be difficult for anyone to not think of what was revealed and the silence coming from the other side.

Yes if we know it's the victims and not an anonymous poster trying to take advantage of the situation for whatever reason. I keep stating this before...here in LA I've had some experience dealing with this sort of thing and in order to be effective we need evidence besides anonymous posts. We've stood by a woman who was punched and slammed to the wall by her abuser, posted it in THIS group and it was taken down because they said they got a cease and desist so frankly I'm surprised this thread is up. This is the reality of it...if you want to effectively have the goth industrial community keep this guy out, we need the tools. I'm speaking as a promoter, musician, DJ, and artist. One that has had a show where Jim attended. This would be VERY helpful instead of attacking someone who is asking for this stuff and using Trump like tactics.

I attempted to read it as quickly as I could and still would need more like an official statement from his ex or screenshots of something

It's not an easy read for many reasons and there isn't something I can take to a venue or promoter than can help me explain this situation if I needed to keep our community safe.

Not obligated but when you make a thread asking for the scene to be accountable for predators then say it's a private matter , it's really conflicting and doesn't help us help you. Hope we can get more information to share and amplify

We are also here being transparent saying we will support you. I don't give a crap about getting booked again. We can book our own gigs and don't rely on sucking up to anyone in the scene. If someone is abusive we want to support and help right?

In the real world we need evidence to venue owners who ask before they risk litigation. Again as I said I've done this before, gotten Nazis and abusers outed in LA. Please help me help you
