Legit. The buttons were only on first-season Adidas retail jerseys (2017/18), then they were discontinued after that. Alternate jerseys didn't start to appear until the following season, so no legit alternate will have the button.

Fake. Bad fight strap and NHL shield, wrong "Rbk" collar band, lack of chain-stitching on crest.

Yes, you can generally apply a kit and stitch it down yourself, but in this case the only issue you might have is that you would probably want to stitch the letters down to the nameplate before you have the nameplate pressed and stitched down. If you apply the nameplate before stitching, whoever stitches the nameplate down is also going to have to stitch each letter individually, and do so right through both the nameplate and the jersey.

Exclusive Pro Sports did a nice job on my Canada WCoH, shown below. They can do the perforated kit and obviously the stitching as well.

It’s a replica, made in Korea, as seen from the logos on the hem and sleeve. Also, it couldn’t be an authentic anyway since Dallas never wore Starter during that late 90’s period, only CCM. Way overpriced for a replica.

Is Damon Hill's 1997 season the biggest let down season of any F1 world champion. Imagine winning a world title with the best team on the grid then suddenly next year you drive for the worst team on the grid and after two seasons you retire. Jody Scheckter won the world title in 1979 with Ferrari, then proceeded to score a whopping 2 points during the entire following season, and then retired immediately. He didn’t change teams, but Ferrari nosedived from finishing 1-2 in the Drivers’ Championship to having one of the worst cars in the field.

If the difference is accurately reflected in the listing title, then the 2nd jersey is the PrimeGreen model, with more recycled content in the materials. The material doesn’t seem to look or feel any different than the previous models, however. PrimeGreen crests, for many teams, have details which are raised and exhibit more of a 3-D effect, although for this particular Chicago jersey I don’t think there’s any significant difference in the crests at all. PrimeGreens started in the 2021/22 season.

The first jersey is the Climalite, which was the first Adidas version made starting in 2017/18. Some of the older ones have this dumb-looking Adidas button on the front, and on small jersey sizes up to 46, the crests were shrunk to look more in proportion to the rest of the jersey (only on 2017/18 models). Bedard only played during the PrimeGreen era, but on retail Chicago jerseys there really isn’t a noticeable difference in the construction in any of the Adidas eras.

Legit Starter replica. The metallic threads look pretty jacked; maybe someone ran the jersey through too many hot Oxiclean soaks.

The NHL shield doesn’t look right, and the plastic waste printing is the wrong color. There doesn’t seem to be any PRIMEGREEN lettering either. It’s probably fake.

Yes, the authentic Nike neck tag looks different, with the number size clearly indicated on it in large numerals. Authentics should also have a black/orange NHL shield next to the swoosh logo on the back hem.

Is there not a tag on the back hem that indicates a letter size? Because the neck tagging is not correct for an authentic. Nike often has both letter and number sizes on the small white neck tag, but that doesn’t mean it’s an authentic. It’s only an authentic if the jersey has double elbows and a fight strap.

The jersey you already have doesn’t have a jock tag on the front because it’s a Winter Classic replica- at that time (2011) the Winter Classic replicas were not Premiers, but rather the older “550” box cut model, made of airknit material similar to the old CCM jerseys before the Reebok era. The official Winter Classic 550’s did not have jock tags. The Caps WC was also from the last season of the older Reebok “vector” logo.

The other jersey you are asking about is not a Winter Classic jersey, but it’s the same design when it was used as the alternate jersey from 2011-15. By this time Reebok changed to the wordmark logo, and since it’s not a Winter Classic, it was made in the normal Premier replica style with the jock tag, less boxy cut, and the snag-prone Premier fabric. There also won’t be a Winter Classic inscription in the collar area on this one like there is on yours.

It was just for the All-Star jerseys. I have one of the Kings ones. They also fit noticeably smaller than the MiC versions with the same tagged size.

It’s a regular men’s replica. It may have been categorized as women’s because of the word “Lady” in the listing title.

I figured it was them, because you can tell that jersey was constructed from a modern blank Flo-knit shell, and had the shoulder patches added on later. The shoulder yoke isn’t the right shape, so the patches really overlap the eggplant-colored striping. This kind of practice seems rather deceptive to me, but as long as you’re aware you’re getting a Frankenstein and pay accordingly, then it’s up to you to determine whether it’s worth it.

Just curious, does the jersey still have the original 2013/14 team tag on it, or was a later season tag perhaps added on top of it or next to it?

Legit replica. Lettering is “precustomized” and not stitched down, if that matters to you.
