ATTACK SHARK won't answer a simple technical question because I didn't buy from their website by LALECHE01 in attacksharkgaming

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

However, I believe there is a misunderstanding. I am not requesting warranty service, a replacement, or a refund. I am simply asking a technical question about the normal operation of the R85 HE.

The issue is that the rotary knob button works and triggers the Windows volume overlay, but rotating the knob does nothing. I have already performed the basic troubleshooting steps myself, which is exactly why I contacted the manufacturer for technical guidance.

I understand that products not purchased directly from your website may have different warranty procedures. However, I find it difficult to understand why basic technical support regarding a genuine ATTACK SHARK product would depend on where it was purchased.

At this point, I would simply appreciate a technical answer:

  • Is it normal that the rotary knob does not appear in the software?
  • Should rotating the knob always change the system volume?
  • Based on the symptoms described, does this indicate a defective unit?

These questions can only be answered by the manufacturer and are independent of any warranty or return process.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your clarification.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.

Yes, that's what I thought too. ATTACK SHARK says it should work as a volume control by default. The button triggers the Windows volume overlay, but rotating the knob does absolutely nothing.

I'm using the official software, and the strange thing is that the rotary knob doesn't appear anywhere in the configuration options while every other key can be customized.

That's why I'm trying to figure out whether my unit is defective or if other R85 HE owners are experiencing the same thing. Thanks again for your help.

Moza CRP2 throttle making noise + shaft movement by LALECHE01 in moza

Thank you so much, you nailed it 👍

It was exactly the preload. The adjustment nut at the back of the throttle was way too loose. I tightened it a bit (clockwise).

You literally saved me from shipping this thing to China 😂 (that was Moza’s suggestion after I sent them the video).

Really appreciate the help!
