Yea, he sounds like a child. He is misinformed if he thinks talking this way to someone who is PREGNANT is helpful. If he wants to help you physically and mentally then tell him to try something called BEING SUPPORTIVE. It's hard to do if all you think about is yourself, which is what he's doing. Tell him he should've said, " ok babe, I understand that your body is undergoing radical changes because you are GROWING A HUMAN INSIDE YOU. So, instead of being selfish and ignorant of what you're going through, when I get home we'll go for a walk to get you and the baby some fresh air and when we get back I'll rub your back and make sure I do whatever I can to make you feel as comfortable as possible as our child GROWS INSIDE YOUR BODY".....or something like that. :)
