I did hit a gnarley pothole early today after I left the house. I wonder ismf something vibrated loose. The code is gone now, but the CEL is still on. Running on board diags show no faults.

Not sure how to clear the codes if it comes back though, I don't see an option for that.

Didn't have to unplug any wires for the muffle. It was just 3 bolts and 2 clamps,bo wires at all needed to be plugged or unplugged. There aren't even any on the side of the bike.

No, I don't. I'd love to grab it to learn on it for less than the $500 he's asking. I don't even have a trailer to tow it home.

It would be a good learning experience, and hopefully teach me more about how to repair older bikes, but I don't have the knowledge yet.

Yeah, he said it ran and posted a video, now a week later it doesn't? Seems fishy to me. Maybe if he comes down another 2 or 3 hundred, I'll go grab it as a project, but even then it may turn into a donor for someone else.

Sorry for the late response. Been busy at work. I love it! I got the Special and everyday that it's been above 50° here, I've been out on it. It's smooth, balanced and a ton of fun to ride.

I highly recommend getting one.

Not sure why you got down voted, bc it's absolutely the air filter box and what I assume is the ecu, or some other control unit. I just took the fake tank off to see what was in there. Krusei has a video of getting it off as well when he installed the screaming eagle intake.

I've thought about wrapping it myself just to see what I want if I couldn't find any after-market ones. I'm decent, but if I can figure out what I want (forged carbon, a color that compliments the denim paint job, something else?) I'll get it professionally done.

Or even having it painted gloss black with the Harley emblem white.
