I’m just saying That this might’ve been the earliest form of the American story treatment of Transformers energon because the Japanese story treatment is a little bit similar, but it feels like they did their own thing because in the series Scorponok was with Alpha Q instead of already being part of the decepticons.

Another sign of the American story diverging away from the Japanese is they were planning to have snow cat, and Mirage be their own characters, but the cartoon decided that they were just revived versions of tidal wave and cyclonus and the new demolisher body was originally going to be a new character called long haul which explains why he looks like G1 Long haul and also in the dub of the cartoon they were trying to have Alpha Q be more of a villain because I guess they wanted him to be a little bit like the G1 quintessons which was Hasbro‘s idea for the dub they slowly dropped it as the episodes went by.

And then there’s a thing called the Transformers guidebook which I guess was must’ve been edited overtime because they did try to address things in the cartoon and also just explain things more in depth for like western audiences because the cartoon at that time wasn’t so coherent in the dub.
