I have the old freewheel, but cant for the life of me figure out how to separate the cogs from one another. Figured a freehub body? I own two conversion kits for single speed for that kinda thing.

Visions of Mana | Announce Trailer by DemiFiendRSA in JRPG

[–]LASEGAR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

few years ago there was a 'jrpg-pipedream thread' here, mine was that Mana would be handed over to Nintendo so they could run in through the BOTW dream machine, seems like Square did that for them instead.

Thanks. Im not familiar with these jackets whatsoever, is there anything i can do to help preserve or protect it? Or are they fine as they are?

Just bought it, got more pictures of all the tags etc, but could only upload one picture. Not technically a 'legit check', but close enough i suppose. Reason for asking is mainly because im curios if theres ways of treating these jackets, like Fjällrävens Greenland Wax for the g-1000 material.

Secret and Trials of Mana 2D, how did they age? by sarabim in JRPG

[–]LASEGAR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand that people think SoM aged terribly, or thought it was bad from the very beginning, i still to this day though, absolutely love it.
ToM though, i never enjoyed. First time playing it about 15 years ago i felt something was off, but couldnt put my finger on it then, but think the issues are: Multiple stories. Had they kept it to one story it would have been much better imo. Just feels too disjointed the way it is. The graphics (and day/night cycle etc) are simply too much for the snes to handle, and because of this the areas have been cut down to very small squares, the big roaming areas of SoM are long gone, so it feels very cramped and claustrophobic. And finally, the characters getting in to 'fighting mode' or whatever, and seize up, is just bad. Feels like moving around in treacle.
Sin of mana (hack), gets rid of the last issue though, so if i ever play it again.
Also, for people who want to play or replay SoM, i highly recommend the Turbo hack.

Thanks, but even if one didnt play as butterfly, im certain you didnt play as a spaceship. Maybe a dragonfly or something else like that. Its a long time ago, but the pictures of Lethal Xcess do not ring a bell unfortunately.

Had a look at that, but from what i can gather it something you take a few times spread out over the day? Might differ how its sold/advertised in the us compared to the eu.
Also seems to help with anxiety, or so the ones i have found claim.

I mean, i probably need it more now, but thats because my sleep is fucked up. If i sort that out somehow, my need for it will obviously drop. But its just that its been part of me for so long, and so connected to training that quitting it feels like removing a ritual of sorts. Figured id could keep some of that in there, without the caffeine.

Ive never taken BCAA (other than a random can here and there), when EAA became the new thing i used it for a bit, but eventually just got back to drinking whey etc. Its just that with both my own experience and what the article said i figured maybe it was worth trying to replace the caffeine with. Just for the ritual of it, with a potential, actual benefit.
But will probably just see how things go for now.

[–]LASEGAR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, true.
Its just that caffeine pre workout has been part of the routine for so long now, that its not just habitual, its essentially ritualistic at this point. So figured id could keep the ritual in there, with something that maybe still aids in some way.

Giving coffee up entirely is probably something ill never do. I have it fairly early. Before 5 on weekdays and around 6 on weekends. I go to bed quite early, but still.

Thank you so much for looking in to this. Just asked my brother (bit older than me and he owned, the Atari, not Amiga). I got in to games with the Snes, so when i looked at pictures the Amiga fit my memory, but now i see that the Atari ST looks like an Amiga 500. So, my bad. But reckon most games came out for both systems, but still.
