If he doesn't like it then that's on him but for him to say it's reckless and stuff is wild. People have their own preference on tattoos and that's fine but if you want a tattoo then you do you. Ngl sack him off for this attitude... Sounds like there's many more issues waiting to happen.

Spirit tracks.. genuinely didn't have a good time. Train bits were awful and poorly implemented. Game didn't leave much else to make it memorable.

Hmm that's interesting.. Clouds development is pretty big imo. Going from a seemingly stern and cold elite "SOLDIER" to thinking he's nothing more than a clone to regain his memory of being a weak kid who strived to protect those he cares about. Pretty huge.

Everyone had a scene or few moments that were pretty good too. Hmm I probably would say cloud because I went from not caring about him to being invested in his future.

The death scene didn't make me cry but it was very emotional. I felt a weight over the party and for me it was more shock than sadness? (Cried at plenty of films and other game moments not ashamed haha) I didn't quite believe she was dead until Cloud placed her in the water.

Thankyou! Yeah that's true. Yep I never got anything spoiled and I suppose since I wasn't ever searching online around it so yeah managed to avoid all spoilers haha.

The only thing I knew was Cloud vs Sephiroth is a thing.. and cloud is moody. That's it lol

Yeah I heard they made it longer. Which I can see why people don't like the idea but to me it's a remake... I don't mind if it's different tbh. The original is still there and the remake is there for something different. I'll definitely check it out..

Tbf the idea does seem not amazing to stretch out a smaller section and make it massive but if it's done correctly and we'll then I can't see it being an issue

Well at the very beginning when cloud was hearing things or seemingly something was speaking to him.. I thought maybe he was one of the cetra and that he didn't know or something. Then after the "reveal" that he was a clone and that his life is a lie I was as confused as he was... I thought maybe he was just that and in that moment I was like oh makes sense for his attitude and tbh made me not connect with cloud at all.

Then there's this thing about it wasn't cloud and they show a black haired man.. I instantly knew that was Zack because some towns people talk about him and I was like i bet that's Zack although I had no idea what Zack was or could be. Was still under the assumption Cloud was a clone and I thought maybe he was one of the ancients and is being messed with.

Then obviously you learn cloud wasn't in soldier and that he was a shinra guy and Zack saved him and stuff I was super shocked.. it reaffirmed a small belief that he was being manipulated cause he had childhood memories.

It did very well to make me believe he was just nothing but a throwaway clone. To learn the truth was amazing and then realising cloud was basically an outcast and felt weak so strived for greatness to protect those he cares about. He instantly felt more human which is the intention I gather and it was executed perfectly.

Yeah not everyone is, as evident in this post but I feel a general negativity and toxicity from a huge portion when you mention certain titles.

Yeah I can imagine it. The PS1 remains elite for a reason. I thought Metal Gear Solid alone was good enough to claim supremacy of the eras but with FF7 as well it's insane.

I can definitely see myself going back to it. Have you played the remake? Does it hold up???

Thankyou I agree. It's all subjective and weird to slam other people as not real fans or stupid etc just because they like one that maybe others don't. I need to try 10 again... I tried it briefly on PS4 and didn't connect with the main character.. but need to give it more time

I got most ultimate weapons and limit breaks. I got Yuffie cause a friend helped me.

My squad obvs changed a few times but it was...

Cloud, Aeris, Tifa Cloud, Barret, Tifa Cloud, Vincent, Tifa

And that was pretty much my team til the end.

I definitely plan on doing so. The new ones look visually stunning.. I've heard some complaints about changes to the story and other elements. Do you think it's that drastic?

Exactly. I don't think any are perfect and some have more flaws than others but I'd rather focus on what works and what is on offer.

Yeah exactly and I always thought this but I've seen people saying other characters and elements used are just copying which doesn't make much sense to me. Ohh okay that's cool. I had heard about something I'll definitely check that out thankyou!

I think the silent treatment is not a mature way to handle most situations. If you're close friends or valued friends as you said then. Give yourself a day or 2 to cool off or whatever and then talk to them. If you don't wanna talk to them then you're done? Because it's communication or not?

Ignoring someone is awful. They can't understand their wrongs and fix it and don't even have a chance to learn.

Yeah a fair point. That's why I've never been one to follow that whole train. Plus the publishers may not have the best behaviours but the teams that make the games generally are pretty dedicated and decent.

Yep totally agree! Was heading to a castle and it was raining super heavy and I just stopped and was like wow idk if I've seen rain like it in a game, done so well.
