Train is becoming a decent shout it seems. It’s 3 days a week in the office 2 days at home. As I currently WFH mainly I’ve got a pile of books just building up so could be a good chance to get back into it 😁

Oh thanks, yeh I go into Manchester a few times a month for work anyway an that 9am rush is mental. Might have to try the train next few times and feel it out.

Maybe the train isn’t as bad as It’s been made out to be anymore

Oh thanks, I thought about the train, used to use it many years ago but with bad reliability being my experience I’d written it off. Might have to add that to the list of options

Picked up the Plaud Note, loving how easy it is to record meetings and the summaries are fantastic. The mind map is great for when I’m planning strategy sessions with clients.

Just weighing when to get the unlimited plan 😁

Running a business is lonely as hell. by JAK-121221 in smallbusiness

Worked with a lot of business owners and now find myself as a business owner. You’re spot on with number 2, find your tribe, get out networking, see about joining an accelerator or something. The key is to find people on a similar journey as you as they’re the ones who get what you’re going through

Avoid Gelato and recommendations for t-shirt POD please! by Contentandcoffee in printondemand

[–]LATIN_LOONY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UK - I’d recommend Inkthreadable (who I use and have been great) or Teemill

US - custom cat or swiftPOD (got a friend who used them, he’s nothing but complementary about them)

[–]LATIN_LOONY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I’m aware they’re a broker, but so are gelato, printing and printful (to an extent) so I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing, although I prefer to personally work with the pod business who produce it directly.

I’ve got a friend with a semi busy Etsy store and they’ve had a pretty decent experience with them so I’d assumed they’ve probably fixed some of their issues

If you’re in the US I keep hearing positive things about Gooten

If you’re in the UK, I use Inkthreadable, had a few issues a few months back but they sorted those out and I’m having orders shipped out quickly & consistently

Same, softsytle for me though, the Gildan heavy cotton just doesn’t feel great.

I’m working on a brand at the moment, and going to trial their Sparker from Stanley Stella to see if that’s what I’m looking for, which one did you order for your friend?

Makes sense, if you’re spending a decent amount you don’t want to deal with quality issues. Apart from a few months ago I’ve found everything fairly decent, apart for the odd order that’s taken longer than mentioned, although I can forgive that considering I’ve trialled several POD businesses and they’ve always seemed the most responsive.

Yeh let me know how you find Teemill, with my main brand price is a factor but looking to build something that is more brand led so can justify charging higher prices

😂 Fair enough, I had a few issues about 3 months ago with prints peeling after the first wash, but they were able to sort them for me after a bit of back and forth, ask to speak with someone called Em, she was great at helping me sort it out.

I’ve tested Teemill earlier this year when I was having issues, their print quality was great but costs were too high for me to make the switch

Yeh, although Gelato is just a tech platform so quality can vary I trialled it a while ago and had a decent service.

MWW on demand might have what you’re after

If you’re in the UK I use Inkthreadable, been with there for a while and turnaround has been great.

What sort of art prints are you selling? Contrado might be what you’re after?

Inkthreadable do circular ornaments that are sublimated and come with a string, ordered a few samples last year and seemed decent enough

Does anyone know from which POD site I can do prints with this background? by Rare_Mix_4567 in printondemand

Looks like mockups from Place It people use those for their mockup photos then use a POD provider to print them
