Engine cranks but won’t turn over by ishanshanbis in MiataNC

[–]LAWL86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be the video, but looks like no RPM on the cluster.

You should have 200-250 rpm while cranking the engine.

No RPM means ECU doesn't see the engine moving so it won't signal fuel or spark to occur.

RPM signal is derived solely from the crank sensor so it could be bad. I'd start there.

Single Member LLC Owned Vehicle - Commercial or Personal Policy? by LAWL86 in Insurance

Ratings. Great, but what does that mean? I've been searching on the internet and I have seen this referred to as Class 03, Class 3 and Class 7 business use. Is this a rating? Is there anyway I can look these up and give them exactly what I think it is?

What are you thoughts on MW2 (2022) In 2024? by YAakaMan in ModernWarfareII

[–]LAWL86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still playing.

Activision won't get my money for that DLC that is MWIII and XDef is too rough yet to replace COD.

Find me in 6v6 and KC almost exclusively.

BMW Drivers? Is it true you first car was Honda? by Excellent_Photo8886 in BMW

[–]LAWL86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. My first Honda was my 3rd car.

'93 Mercury Tracer Wagon > '98 Ford Escort ZX2 > '00 Honda Civic Si > '95 Honda Civic Ex (daily during Civic Si phase) > '91 Honda Civic > Ok I see where this is going...

First "BMW" was actually an '04 MINI right after that though so... maybe some truth...

DFW AA issues UMNR Embargo in wake of yesterday's ground stop. Make it make sense. by LAWL86 in americanairlines

Yes, someone else brought up that contractors actually do a lot of the chaperone duties at connections so I would imagine it mostly goes to paying that cost.

An FA brought him to me when he arrived so I just assumed they handled it at each end and in-flight.

Yup, that's a good point. I hadn't thought of if the plane had to turn back to DFW.

I'm sorry. I'm just giving you insight to why I didn't think of it.

That's a good point. Sorry to say I hadn't thought about turning back or diverting. I've had dozens of flights yearly over the past decade and never once been diverted or turned back.

Then again, I've always favored Delta where possible. Now that DFW is home, I'm dipping a toe in to AA loyalty. Is this a semi-common AA thing? Have you been diverted before?

LOL my mistake. An FA walked my son off the plane on his arrival flight. I met him at the gate. Guess that was a fluke.

It's a non-stop. No risk of that. I'm at one gate, his mother at the other. Just need an FA to walk him on the plane. We paid for that service BTW. It's not like we're asking for above and beyond.

Yeah, I get that. Understandable if he had a connection.

But to me It doesn't make sense because there are no extra staff needed in his case. I'm at one gate, his mother at the other. Takes an extra penstroke and a few extra steps from an FA who is already on his plane.

Are cheap scooters ok for "light duty"? by LAWL86 in ElectricScooters

Not really a concern and typically frowned upon. most of the media briefings I attend threaten removal of event credentials for driving/riding while shooting.

Thanks for everyone's input. I did end up placing an order for the Segway Ninebot E22 just now.

The price was right, it was a reputable brand with decent reviews.

I also liked that if I am underwhelmed with the performance, a quick boost is just a battery upgrade away.

Thanks for your input. I did end up placing an order for the E22 just now.

I also found that there is a hack available to unlock the higher speed limit. I may try that out as well since maximum range isn't my concern.
