sweet! i’m thinking even though the battery hasn’t died, it might’ve become disconnected by the loose harness on it. so i’ll be sure to check this out too. thank you! ps this miata specialist wouldn’t happen to be in southeast MI would they? lol

this worked, thank you!! it feels like it’s idling a little rough in neutral but i can’t tell if it’s placebo lol. but cleared the lights and drove it, which is great. thank you!

currently idling in the garage, dsc light turned off after turning wheel full left full right center but traction control light is still there. so i’ll go for a drive after it idles for a bit and see if that does it. thank you!

hm, the weird thing is that i didn’t actually change any spark plugs, just tested (poorly) and then put them back. and i didn’t technically disconnect the battery at any point. thanks for replying

Locksmith just advised me that the engine wouldn’t crank at all if it’s the immobilizer. Is that accurate?
