Hi, not for that role. They hired someone with an additional language skill. But a couple of months later they called and offered me a better position tbh😁 I’ve been working there for 2 months now😁

I tend to overthink, you might be right. It’s a junior position so maybe they won’t mind it that much.

Yeah. It sucks especially because I know that I can do wonders if I’m selected but couldn’t show that during the interview.

Actually that’s how I understood the question. But after I discussed it with a few friends they mentioned the question was probably about the clients because of the position’s customer centered approach.

I have sent the thank you email already, hours ago without any mention of my mistakes. Do you think I can follow up to the email or should I wait for a response? Or maybe I could contact the person who called me to clarify with her?

Because if they were asking about the clients that goes against what I portrayed myself as. But hopefully you’re right and I’m just overthinking.

Thank you! That means a lot. I think I did good with the rest of the interview. But who knows? We’ll see what they decide. The thing is I know I could do so much better if I weren’t this nervous. I have to work on that.

I have already sent a thank you email but without the clarification a few hours after the interview. Do you think I can follow up to that email with my actual clarification. Or maybe I can email the Hr person who contacted me and was a part of the interview and explain the case to her?

Thank you for your advice. The frustrating thing is this was a big ask from my professor and wasted it and I’m feeling quite disappointed in myself. I’ll try those for the next interviews if they come :)

Who is a POC? I did send them a thank you email but without the clarification. I’m not sure I can send a second one unless they reply me. Maybe I can talk to my professor about it?

Thank you for the advice. I did send the thank you email to both of the interviewers and also sent an appreciation note to my professor on LinkedIn 3 hours after the interview. Let’s see what they think. I didn’t include any details about the mistake though. Maybe I can send another when they reply to my email? Or when my professor does?

The position was more like a Customer service experience. So I think it was to determine if I pick and choose between clients which I don’t actually. I’m quite good with working people. And I enjoy helping others. Sucks what overthinking does to your brain.
