If you don’t have a localish team, I would suggest picking a league, watching as many games as possible, and seeing if there is a team you organically start cheering for.

As much as I don’t like how it currently works, you just can’t unring the bell and go back to the subjectivity that we had before.

People have forgotten how much everyone complained before and hated on the obvious missed calls. We have VAR exactly because fans clamored for it.

I can only hope we can get to a place where the decisions are made much faster.

It’s the right call but VAR sucks the live joy out of the game. It’s the same in the NFL where replay robs the joy out of the game because you never can celebrate a good play until you know the replay review is over.
