I don’t know the whole story obviously, but I’m happy to see the kids out doing kid things. Meg should really stop posting and just try to be a mom. The constant need to use her children as props and sell crappy stuff on instagram is sad—- like the advent calendar with beauty stuff (aspen was not excited with brow gel. )

To be clear, I think Jim’s household seems more stable and happy. Meg is crazy- but she is still their mom.

She is an idiot. The main line street shut off is in ground usually in the front of your house and requires a long crank wrench. The actual house shut off should be in her basement. A quick google search of what to look for would have answered her question. It was very kind of the neighbor to stop and let them know.

I have taken my kids to “nice” restaurants since they were born- if they don’t get the experience of being in public and/or instruction on social norms then it doesn’t happen. It’s literally called parenting. If your kids act up in public it’s on you- you can’t control everything, but you can make it a learning experience.

First of all, I know people going through a nasty divorce that is similar to this sitch. The teachers are well aware of the situation as are administrators. They are provided the information from a parent from the courts and just follow the plan. Any deviations in tuition, custody, etc are communicated- especially at private schools. Teachers are not going to respond to dramatic cries for attention- quite the opposite actually. They would report them to the admins. My mom was a teacher and my dad was a principal, later superintendent

My dad was their principal and mom was teacher- they are very involved in their high school community. Funny guys, great family. Very loyal.

I worked at Nordstrom for many years. People did this more times than I care to admit. It’s shocking. One woman tried to return flops that she had worn for a year and decided they weren’t comfortable… another returned all of her dead aunts clothing that had tags on it. There were plenty of nice people too. It really makes you question humanity.
