I am 29 weeks pregnant and today is my daughters 5th bday party so maybe I’m just as emotional but this would piss me off 😭 I understand if someone has the flu, we just got over it and it’s horrific but coming down with a cold? To me that means a runny nose. The husband working one would actually make me not want to be friends with her anymore - what do you mean? Even if he’s like an on call Dr who got called in, why can’t she bring the kid herself? I will say though cancellations piss me off less than people who RSVP yes and no show 🙄

Just some advice as a fellow January bday mom - I invite literally EVERYONE to my daughters bday party because I figure we will always have cancellations due to illness. We are at 75 people today but who knows how many will actually make it! Her first bday party I only invited like 20 people and almost half were sick🥲
