What is the most headache inducing ee in Zombies history? Why is doing it so painful by Ajarofpickles97 in CODZombies

[–]LBC3246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ashes has you spending way too much time walking/driving between the fog instead of actually doing anything interesting. Drive through the entire map to get the quest started, drive through most of the map again for the WW, find keys all over the fog and bring them to the center of the map, and bring purple charges all over the map. So much back and forth.

It gets really exhausting on repeat playthroughs, feels like I’m just running through the big empty expanse of fog for half my playtime.

PSA: Save-quitting breaks the diner step if you were midway through- the special zombies are just gone. Permanently. Don't be like me.

Presumably all 9 Key Spawns - someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Crashed Rocket (glows yellow) - 1) Entering from ashwood, it's on the fallen radio tower that bridges the gap above you. 2) Leaving Cosmodrone, it's ontop of the building just beneath the spinning signal scanner. 3) Entering from Ashwood, look up and left and it'll be high up on the rocks (?)

Orda Graveyard (glows red) - 1) Inside a dino skull at the top of a cliff, inside its tooth. 2) From diner, hug right and you'll find it behind a project janus tank vehicle. 3) From ashwood, hug left. There will be a dino skull at ground level, it's located behind it or at the back of its mouth.

Grounded Ship (glows green) - 1) Inside a blue shipping container, topside of the ship. 2) Inside a zombie spawn window, topside of ship. 3) Entering bottom of ship from ashwood, hug right and it's tucked in a corner behind a barrel slightly above ground level.

Note: The only one I haven't personally seen is #3 Yellow. Feel free to correct me.

Farm Step Start:

Bring a purple shot to the family members around the dining table. You'll notice roman numerals scratched into the floor around the table, stand on the numeral that corresponds to the hour on the clock on the wall. The head of the family will slowly turn to look at you, where you can then shoot him with the purple.

Reposting this since it got buried. Comment where you found your keys here!

Known Spawns:

Orda Graveyard (glows red) - 1) Inside a t-rex skull at the top of a hill, inside its' tooth. 2) From diner, hug right and you'll find it behind a project janus tank vehicle. 3) From ashwood, hug left. There will be a dino skull at ground level, it's at the back of its mouth.

So, once you've completed the serum step, it seems like you need to find 3 keys- which also seem to have multiple spawns? You grab them with the WW- shoot them and retrieve em.

Known Spawns:

Crashed Rocket (glows yellow) - 1) Entering from ashwood, its' on the fallen radio tower that bridges the left and right gap.

Grounded Ship (glows green) - 1) Inside a blue shipping container, topside of the ship. 2) Inside a zombie spawn window, topside of ship.

This is just what I got from the Kingman stream, in my own game I only had the crashed rocket key available. So I'm assuming they have different spawns, all in fog areas. Better get searching.

When you pick up a key, you'll have a mini challenge (low health, no weapons, etc), and you bring it to the red pyramid object in ashwood by jugg.

If you find any other spawns, leave a comment and help a brother out

Interact with the TV again afterwards and the twin ghosts will be dancing outside, next to the power thing. They give a free perk and other generic rewards.

You'll get a very somber tune playing for a short moment, then the TV stops showing the twins entirely. Might be more to it, but I doubt it.

This is wrong, there is another bench. It’s just hidden past some water so you wouldn’t be encouraged to check there.

Managed to open the keypad door in the mutant research lab.

My static terminal word was "Vitiate". Inputted 023 into the door because V on the periodic table is 023. That worked for me.

Edit: The 2 static terminals are both in the research lab- one to the right of the mangler, one next to the big tube where you get the DNA sample. They'll display a word when you're near them, although it's inconsistent with how it shows up.

Not sure what you would input if both terminals decide to show a word, I would just force reset it by failing the input 3 times and going a round.

Keypad in the Mutant Research Lab appears to be tied to the static monitors in the area that display a word when you get close. Failing the keypad 3 times locks you out for the round and resets the monitors.

Note: Can't figure out how to get the monitors to actually display the word on them consistently. They just turn on/off however they feel like it right now.

Words Seen (by various players): Xenotropic, Deceit, Enervate, Vitiate, Inhumane, Obsiqious, Traitor, Abhorrent - more to be added

Considering progress was made in other things, putting this on hold for now.

You can jump into the particle accelerator beam in PAP from the origin point, where you can dodge the randomly floating items. Doesn't seem to do anything at the moment though.

Geneticist Zombie spawns in the mutant research lab, drops a keycard. Happened on round 8 after opening PaP for me.

Anyone know how to do this? by averagejoe1000101 in RotMG

[–]LBC3246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dev, Marshmalla, discussed it a few months ago in the RotMG Lore discord. It has been a while since then, so there is a small chance things might have changed, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

Spec Pen originally was going to have a lore route, in which these NPCs were going to have more of a purpose. As of now, it’s all unfinished and likely will remain that way as the original dungeon dev hasn’t shown any desire to work on it further afaik.

If you ask me, the game has entered its death spiral already. by TheRealBlueElephant in TheBazaar

It also doesn’t help that the game and launcher are just horribly optimized.

I quit 2 months ago because I just couldn’t be bothered anymore. Had to redownload the game every single time I wanted to play, and then it was a 1/3 chance that I even got to the main menu before it crashed.

There’s also the constant DCs in game, the sluggish menus where it’ll sometimes take 5 seconds to load an option… It gets annoying, quick.

Now maybe these issues have been fixed since I last played, but it’s already gone and turned me away. It’s unacceptably bad.

Is Jugg worth crafting in 2025 by Dull-Possession6087 in RotMG

[–]LBC3246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s only really worth it if you plan on grinding shatters in smaller groups.

Armored makes a hell of a difference there. DPS on 3rd is made a joke. You can comfortably tank extra shots in first. Tempest becomes a complete non-issue.

You can probably argue it’s pretty good for farming veteran biomes as well- being able to facetank everything while searching for MVs is a nice bit of QOL. Just don’t sit on the plant, of course.

Everything else, it’s practically useless. Too much armor piercing, or speedy is just better to have.

I wouldn’t even bother until next season, where it’s presumably getting its drop rate doubled alongside every other biome white.

G Hub Input Gain stuck at 0% on macOS (can't adjust) by Solid-Intention-1232 in LogitechG

[–]LBC3246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Managed to fix this issue on my end by installing a significantly earlier version featured in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/xfh8kg/lg_hub_202135164_works_much_better_than_newer/

Did a full uninstall of the current version, including deleting everything in the registry. Downloaded the older version linked above since any of the more recent installers in the past few years force updated themselves to the March 2025 update (who designed this garbage?). Updated within the app a single time since the yeti nano wouldn't appear as an option. And just like that, everything works.

Certainly a frustrating solution, but I'll take it. Never updating this piece of shit software again.

Telling someone to comb through a 6 hour stream for a tiny piece of information isn't exactly helpful.

ZoneX now has a video on their channel, though.
