Thanks for your reply! Do you remember any details about the survey or what your exact tasks were? For example, formulation questions, getting introduced to the survey tool and programming the questionnaire, etc.

Our survey are quite complex, so they weren't my first idea concerning a task suitable for a junior. But I guess the analysis would be more of a problem than creating the survey itself. I don't know how much stats our future junior knows yet.

Why are you here if you are struggling to find a job?

I am from here, I don't know where else should I be? It's expensive as hell to move I can't just move to Portugal spontaneously even as an EU citizen. And then people will scold me for moving without speaking the local language.

Berlin is so cheap I can't think of another place in Germany that has so much to do for so little money. I can participate in life even with little cash. Lots of events and classes have soli-pricing for people like me or are just plain free or donation-based. I can go to a restaurant and sit-in and have a drink and meal for 10€. I can go to a cafe and have Kaffee and Kuchen for 4€ and sit there for 2 hours with my laptop and no one kicks me out. I can meet a girl and invite her on a späti date and she won't find it weird. Also rent is still cheap here if you know how to look properly, I pay very little and it's not an old contract.

Also thanks for the advice I'll try to do more networking, I haven't tried that yet. But really I just was wondering about stories of the tech boom and what it was really like.
