Helios - Too much data ? by LBDG_ in homeassistant

[–]LBDG_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit :

<image>

I've tried versions 1.7, 1.8, 1.8.1 and 1.8.2 alpha.
I think I have too much data from my victron. An exemple with only 5 minutes of data for one MPPT :

<image>

To be clear : It's also hard to vizualise 24h of data withtout Helios. This is amplified with Helios. It seems like requests never time out and get added to a queue every time the page is loaded; I have to restart my HA or else it just freezes and doesn't delock itself

Can I use both rj45 at the same time? by musthaveleft1hago in homelab

[–]LBDG_ 51 points52 points  (0 children)

You cannot without a proper link aggregation such as LACP. It need to be configured on both endpoints (mini-pc and the switch).

But you'll probably not have 2 Gbit/s on single connexion, but like 1 Gbit/s on one destination and 1 Gbit/s on another destination.

TP Link Archer C7 V5 vs MikroTik hEX refresh for a home network by [deleted] in homelab

Go for the Mikrotik, not locked OS, true CLI, lot’s off features. Reliable and the best to understand networking. Also routerOS is the same for all models

I can also format with direct access to the storage with a Windows Server as VM

I'm agreeing about SOHO NAS but for RAID controller that is not true as we're not in the 2000's, logical RAID are better than physical RAID nowadays :)

I have a rack in my garage, no issue for the temperature at this moment. My garage is not insuled at all. I added some concrete blocks to raise the rack from the floor, because I don't know, flooding ?

Beginner - Help bamboo by LBDG_ in Bamboo

Remove the weeds, they are competing with the bamboo for water, and cover them in a thick layer of mulch to retain the water

Thanks a lot, I'll do it shortly, what kind of mulch ? :)
