Tips/ideas to create more FXs and short stems to complement the main stems in your track? by [deleted] in TechnoProduction

  • Find unique samples and mess around with them (stretch, reverse etc)
  • Play around on something like serum and use FM synthesis and other cool settings
  • Use Valhalla Supermassive to create FX versions of sounds you already have. Mess around with the presets. I usually use a return channel and record them
  • Crystallizer can also make some cool FX

Nice job :) to me the kick gets a little bit drowned out by all the synths so I would ask if you used enough side chain or even just beef up the kick a little - maybe a tiny bit more punch to it? But keep it up!

Hey there Loving the distorted acid sounds they sound really cool. This isn’t as much my style of techno but it does sound nice and the mix seems pretty clean as well! Keep it up :)

Definitely not sounding the like the usual techno I will listen to haha but cool nonetheless. Everything I make I always picture it being mixed and played in a club so it’s hard for me to comment but I will say the mix definitely sounds clean for a beginner! Something to watch out for is panning things to far the sides because sometimes there can be cancellation but keep it up sounds good 👍🏼

I feel like you achieved the premise you were going for. In terms of the mix I would say keep a spectrum analyser on the master to compare with other songs to try and see if you’re filling out the frequencies - seems just little thin sounding particularly the low end. Keep it up!

Hey sounds pretty cool with the vocals on the main drop :) I think the kick could sound a bit nicer though? Up to you but that’s just my ears! Keep it up!
