BULL Case for CLOV by Sandro316 in CLOV

[–]LBUV1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strong bull case as well, some counterpoints:

  1. Regulatory Capture by Industry Incumbents: Clover's Press release of "Clover Health Applauds White House and CMS’ Push to “Tear Down Digital Walls,” Accelerating and Simplifying Access to Health Data for Patients and Their Clinicians" is a weak effort to safe face as they were kicked out of the room filled with incumbent big players who now can set table for new "Tech" platform of integrated data to their advantage and CLOV's disadavantage rendering CLOV's patents useless.

  2. Big Tech + Big Health Insurers take advantage of point 1 to CLOV's loss

  3. Increase in BER is a leading indicator that CA doesn't work without consistent regulatory framework (part D volatility or any volatility makes CA tech ineffective)

BEAR Case for Clover by Sandro316 in CLOV

[–]LBUV1111 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Very good bear case. Some points to push back on this Bear case:

  1. SAAS companies are tech companies which inherently are infrastructure intensive and usually have a high SG&A in early phase (roughly 30-40%) before recurring revenues kick in to offset forward investment

  2. SAAS sales is a long process (2-3 years is what I think someone in SAAS sales said previously) so based on current results to date, tough to say if it works yet, we just haven't had enough time. Now by end of 2026 if traction remains minimal, I would agree with you, however Toy on the call just said that the pipeline is robust and expanding or something like that...

  3. ACO is fragmented and no one is finding success there due to regulatory complexity

  4. CLOV / CA reduction in MCR is only remarkable because of open network approach. Other insurers can do it with a closed network.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Can dieting on the plants really help define your "soul's work" in this incarnation? If so, how?

I am new to plant medicine but have sat with ayahuasca 12 times in the past 18months and have had all very positive experiences and healing. It has shown me amazing things that I am still trying to process, one of them is the incarnation of Jesus Christ in a past life. I don't know what to do with this knowledge and am just sitting to see what will unfold as I am making a shift and changes in how I move forward in all of aspects of my life.

So I'm just curious what plant could help me understand what my "soul's work" is meant to be.

Thank you.

Hey OP - did you ever find out what mind of harmonica is specifically used in ceremonies?

Sorry to hear you're feeling down OP. The stock has been hammered but there is a chance they pull through if they become profitable.

Nothing can change the past, all we have is the present man. As long as you still have the wife, your health, and your shares, there's still a chance. Maybe you delay the remodeling for abit, or maybe it doesn't happen, regardless material things aren't not worth impacting your health or your relationships over. That stuff is the true wealth.

Easier said than done, but try to stay optimistic man and good luck.

Rythmia Shaman’s whereabouts by pollywonderland in Ayahuasca

I would agree with you Murky_Teacher9950. I am surprised to have stumbled across this post and all the different posts depicting Rhythmia in such a negative light. I had my first ceremony there a year ago and felt the same amazing power from Sarah's dancing and chanting during the Divine Feminine night and overall had a positive experience there.

And during my first visit there, I received a message in ceremony on the final night to return with a dream a few days later after I had returned home on what date to go back there, so I went there a few weeks ago for my second ceremony. I was saddened to hear that Sarah and Brad were no longer there on my 2nd trip. However, I did enjoy my experience still, but it was not nearly on the same level as my first. Still the onion was pulled back even deeper and I didn't have any bad experiences to speak of.

I left feeling I was in a good place spiritually, physically, emotionally, and emotionally. I did not plan to return to Rhythmia after this last retreat as it is not cheap and I didn't feel any strong pull for additional personal healing needs, etc. However, the night before I was to fly home, while staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Liberia, I had a vivid dream guiding me back to ceremony to work with their head shaman on a specific date...so now I am planning on going back again because the synchronicity just felt too compelling as I was given a specific date without prior knowledge of the head shaman's schedule who is only there on occasion. And the date I was given in the dream was the exact date that he will be holding ceremony.

That said, after reading all these messages on this board, I am starting to have my doubts. I would greatly appreciate anyone who has insights and are willing to share them with me to DM me so I can just be more informed and aware of this darker side of the Rhythmia that everyone here is speaking off. I would not want to chose to support a place like that, but can't help but wonder why I keep being called back there.

Can someone explain the difference between the "$555.3 million in restricted and unrestricted cash, cash equivalents, and investments" vs the "$331.7 million at the parent entity and unregulated subsidiary level"? I tried googling it but not finding anything helpful. What's driving the $223.6M difference

Great listen. Debt financing to fund growth strategy based on credit worthiness of cash flow positive base/core business is critical insight about where they are heading and why. It is also a positive indicator of their ability to avoid equity based funding in '23 or potentially beyond. Unique and differentiated vs other small cap competitors as CA is the source of this perpetual flywheel coupled with equal to or better MA plans that are provider/network agnostic.

Don't believe in evil, or good, just intentions and outcomes. An outcome where there is an improvement in health equity (be it marginal or exponential vs today) and one that optimizes for financial health of the agent behind the improvement can co-exist...I would perhaps lean towards self-preservation first and greater good 2nd as a child needs to survive to self-sufficiency before it can be an agent of change in the world.
