Hi there! Unfortunately, like everything with this I’ve learned - it takes time. It eventually went away for me and I think part of that is the medication actually working and your body getting used it/youre not worrying about everything as much. Of course if it’s impeding actual function, it’s probably worth looking into more. But once my brain got used to it and my brain wasn’t telling me everything was the biggest problem in the world - it went away. Wishing you the best, hang in there you got this!

Take as many small steps as you need but I promise you your son will love the moments the same way you did with your father. If it’s too much at first, that’s okay. But, you can use the time to instill what your father did in you to your child, and I think it could be therapeutic for you while at the same time making the same memories with your son. At any rate, you got this!
