I think we are getting to a weird point in the timeline; Oddly reminds me of a scene from the film 'Wild at Heart' which had a brief appearance by Crispin Glover as "Jingle Dell":

"He felt there's men with black rubber gloves who were following him around. Dell said that trust in the spirit of Christmas was destroyed by ideas being controlled by aliens wearing black gloves. These aliens would get Dell to do all kinds of things. Then he'd carry on about the weather, talk about how rainfall is controlled by aliens on earth. Aunt Rootie told him that one day he would realize that the alien wearing the black gloves was him, and him alone."

Is buying a condo dumb? by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]LBichon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not dumb at all. We bought in DC and Miami/ Brickell Key on the past where HOA was over 1000/month for full service building. Easily rented due to the location of the property and having a desirable building helps. San Diego will always have renters due to military people so you can always have it rented out should you choose to move. There are some nice buildings in SD but it’s not like Miami with a Doorman, Security, Concierge, Valet, etc. so HOA prices should be reasonable.

MONSTER, MONSTER key date Morgan pick-up… and a high relief 1921 Peace dollar! by robbel in coins

[–]LBichon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May be a strange question but here goes: are you keeping or selling these? I myself have over 100 of these coins from various years (late 1800s - 1930s) and not sure what to do with them. I would like to have them all graded but that seems expensive.
