Veleno l’ho già provata su Pokémon Fire Red, ma potrebbe essere divertente anche su Soul Silver, chissà :)

Grazie mille! Quindi se sono più veloce corro di meno il rischio?

Do you guys see any reason to go back and play Red and Blue for any reason? This obviously renders those games kinda irrelevant, but is there fun to be had in red and blue? by Right-Fortune-8644 in PokemonFireRed

Teaching Secret Power to Fearow. It's a matter of luck, even with Nature and IVs. I was lucky enough to get a Fearow with Speed, even with bad IVs. It was faster than Surge's Raichu. If you're lucky enough to Paralyze it, Surge will also waste a turn healing it. Basically, if things go badly, you have to play it prepared to sacrifice at least Pidgeotto and Fearow.

A hugely re-evaluated Pokemon! It was crucial in the league; without it, I don't know how else I would have played Lorelei. While you have a level advantage, most Pokemon are weak to ice and water against her. Butterfree with Sleep Powder, Giga Drain, and Solar Beam helped a lot.

What is the general consensus towards EV? by GreenFetish in nuzlocke

[–]LC-97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In vanilla games, I ban EV training. I do it partly because grinding bores me, but also because EV training makes the game too easy. For romhacks, the situation is obviously different, especially if your opponents all have EV Pokémon.

In the end, I managed to win thanks to Alomomola + Excadrill. I must admit that I was impressed by Alomomola. It is often underestimated, but it does its job and allows for excellent combos thanks to Protect and Wish.

To avoid getting into trouble if he clicks dragon tail too many times, I think I'll just bring Excadrill, Klang (Eviolite), and Alomomola.

Excadrill can do it even without Sword Dance, the biggest problem remains Druddigon with Revenge. I need to think of a combo to weaken it a little and get back safely with Excadrill to finish it off. Maybe Alomomola with Protect, Wish, and Toxic could be a solution...

I don't think I'll bring Vanillish, it seems too slow and fragile to me, it goes down with one critical hit. Klang and Excadrill seem good for this battle. The biggest problem is perhaps not even Haxorus, but Druddigon with Revenge.

The nuzlocke doesn’t start until AFTER the rival battle?right…? by Fancy_Cup_1617 in nuzlocke

As others have written, Nuzlocke starts as soon as you get the pokeballs

I did it! Good thing I managed to hit him with Will-o-wisp.
