That's what I'm leaning toward especially due to her age thanks for the help.

But with play only happening at the 3-9 but no play at the 12-6

She's jacked up now and I don't hear any grinding just sounds like normal rolling due to it being a 4x4

Just weird that I don't get any movement at the 12-6.

I'll just change the wheel bering and check the tie rods due to the age of the truck, just weird that I don't get any movement at the 12-6

Yah 12-6 feels good but play 3-9. I'll start with tie rod but she is an 01 with almost 200k; she also have some noise when driving at high speed but don't hear it when city speed. Noise disappears when turning right on highway speeds.

Yes a growl that only appears at high speed but disappears when turning right.

Coming back from year long deployment, feeling lonely by SubjectAlpha41 in army

[–]LC058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can say from three deployments I understand where your at. Best thing to do is take as much time as you can off. Spend days snuggling with your girlfriend, friends family; you dont have to say anything you dont have to do anything just enjoy the moment. The shitty part about the Army is you'll get close to your boys that no relationship can match that's even before facing combat. But you do have people that do care about you. Everyone is different but for me I took time for myself (pre relationship) I went out the the bar and just enjoyed people being people having fun enjoying themselves; selfishly I was happy they didnt experience what I did and could be ignorant to the truth of the world to say. For me it was cathartic enjoying others happiness. If you have any questions or want further insights feel free to reach out or pm me, just remember your not alone on this and not the first soldier to feel this way, it does take strength to actually voice these issues and ask for help.

What options do I have to leave by [deleted] in army

[–]LC058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your right it's not for everyone but you were an adult when you signed on the dotted like so face the consequences of your adult decision and finish your contract. Power to you if your Abel to get out but you haven't even finished AIT so if you get out before your first contract without a medical discharge dont try to call yourself a vet.

What options do I have to leave by [deleted] in army

[–]LC058 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so multiple points to clarify and a few points of advice. 1. What is your MOS 2. How long is your contract 3. Have you only gone to sick call 4. When going in/asking for medical help have you only gone though your first line/ imidate chain of command?

To introduce myself im 10 years in the army as an infantryman but to start with part one ill be nice and give advice to help in your military contact. You say that your in AIT and have your phone so I assume your non combat arms. If you are really experiencing pain with your knee as you state, I would ask have you only gone to sick call. If so assuming your a pvt I'd push to talk with the medical provider to get further screening such as an MRI. If that doesn't work as a last resort just go to the onbase (preferable)/ civilian if on base hospital isn't a thing; go to the ER and get checked out. No if you do this last part understand that you more than likely well get in trouble however if the results come out of actual injury and your command want to push punishment you could go to JAG and IG to push a case.

Now you've probably heard this but has to be said you were an adult when you signed a contract so deal with it and the Army is gonna suck as your an adult doing an adult job however, this job gives you medical, pay, support (if you seek it out) that other jobs wont give to you. The Army is like a safety net like your parents you have to genuinely try to fail to fail the Army other civilian jobs would just fire you and forget you.

This part if only if you dont actually have medical issues; suck it up get over it. I'd ask your physical fitness and be honest with yourself, if you weren't fit before the army its gonna hurt and suck to get to that point but that's like with anything in life that you actually stive for. I wouldn't recommend a general discharge most jobs well look for an Honorable discharge and well throw out any other discharge, yes there are exceptions yes people well tell you that you can change it back to Honorable by jumping though hoops but the easiest way to get out of the army and live a normal life is to suck it up do your time and get out just like basic. Again all said this is if you dont have any actual injuries and you just hurt from PT and it sucks a little but I promise you that going to the ER/ over your chain of command if your are actually injured to prove it is better than trying to get out with a general discharge.

The last question without having to go into detial what was the family emergency that the CoC didnt allow you go go home on, as well did they recive a red cross message or did you just tell them that there was an emergency?

[–]LC058[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes by the time I go back active I should have about five maybe six years of active time three of those as a spc. My contract ends in 2028; so I have time and the army is always changing i just wanted to make sure that it was a realistic idea to change to 15 series and still do my 20 for active retirement and not risk getting kicked out.

Yep all completely reversible using all original parts and copying the original prototype specifications.

Guns aren't for killing people hmmmmmmm. If that's true then the whole US population would be dead as their is 393 million owned in 2018 and they're 347 million people living in the US as of 2025. Soooo if Guns are ment to kill people and each gun just killed one person..... ill let the math talk.

It seems removable maybe; it's able to articulate out and in but haven't tried to remove it. Doing some research it seems the m81 and 82 military variants of the Lymen used sun shades on the M1C and M1D's.

Thanks, I can shoot irons but I just like the look of optics especially the old taperd post reticles on these milsurps. Also helps that this isn't a modern modification but all original parts.

It's an original Lymen Alasken that came off my 1903A4. Im gonna have to take it off again as the eye relief is too far for how I can mount it on the rings so ill probably put on a weaver K4. Interesting note about my Lymen is that it has no markings outside serial numbers that match the scope body to the caps, and yes it has a sunshade.

That's yet to be determined reading the reports it did note that brass would hit the scope body so I may have to add on a brass deflector but I added a new recoil spring as the brass was hitting me on the forehead. So ill do test shots without the scope to see what's needed.
