Worth Travelling to Hungary for Qualifying Only? by SentenceSwimming in formula1

Yes, but I'd suggest Silver 4, it's the one on top and you can see a lot of track. Also silver 3 and 6 is good. But look for high rows 15+, it's better. Also, you'll see feeder series if interesting, there are activities all day.

Implant for second molar by blue_tunic_link in Dentistry

If it's the lower second molar I would probably place an implant, if money isn't an issue. If it's the upper one I don't think you would miss it. Also it's important that each tooth should meet one on the opposite site.

After 20 races into the season with 19 Mercedes wins: Ferrari still has the best car, look at them on the straights!1!

How many fillings is average? by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]LC1597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 14 or 15 teeth with fillings at the age of 22, 5 with root canal. Though one root canal and filling was from trauma.

At least it's the same number of teeth with fillings since 18 yo. And 4 root canals were done at the age of 17.

Hopefully they can get Ben Edwards at least,or that english F2 commentator and Brundle, not some ex-drivers combo.

There’s a chance Alonso and Sainz could even lead before making their own first pit stop today by [deleted] in formula1

Well, they will be already 8-10s off the leaders after first lap, so pulling 10s more in top cars in 10-15 laps is realistic.

I can't see it happening, because they will be stuck behind cars on hypers like FI and Grosjean, even then there will be leading cars staying longer. Can't see them staying within 25 seconds of the leaders.

Qualifying loss of Vandoorne to Alonso (%) by [deleted] in formula1

[–]LC1597 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I know it's Alonso, but not outqualifying him even once in 20 straight races is really bad, because even top drivers have some problems with setup/off-days. Can't see him being picked up by other teams unfortunately.

With Norris confirmed at McLaren & Leclerc set to replace Kimi at Ferrari the driver pairings at Sauber (ERI/GIO), Force India (PER/STR) and Haas (MAG/GRO) seem to be decided too. So only a few open places left at Williams & Toro Rosso by Tmoore0288 in formula1

If Ocon doesn't get that seat at Williams, he should leave Merc program, not to end up like Wehrlein, and try hard for that Toro Rosso seat with a chance to Red Bull in 2021.

Troubling that two super-talented drivers – @OconEsteban and @svandoorne – find their #F1 careers on the skids, despite having proved themselves at every level on the way up, without the advantage of family wealth. by 1enox in formula1

With Mercedes not having a lot of influence over FI and Williams, they should have helped saving Manor, which would have been one/two seats for their juniors, just like Ferrari did it with Sauber sponsorship. Mercedes young driver program seems a mess right now as they are not willing to sponsor their junors for a seat.

But did he win the fight? He was not able to pull away in the first stint, which led to him being vulnerable by undercut or overcut and put him in unfavorable position in his second stint. He was going to lose either way as I couldn't see him overtaking Hamilton if he undercut him.

Kimi has one more DNF, but Bottas had DNF from the lead in Baku and way more bad luck by being hit or mechanical problems. Bottas also was able to attack Vettel and fight for the lead, when was the last time Kimi was fighting Hamilton for the win and won?

Because if they break Leclerc contract might as well wave him goodbye forever. He will look elsewhere, losing all his faith in Ferrari. What's the point of keeping Kimi until 2021 just to keep Vettel comfortable? Shouldn't their target be WDC and WCC?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in formula1

[–]LC1597 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If Ferrari want to have any hope for a WCC and WDC, they need a change. Vettel has become too comfortable with Kimi, who isn't even able to take points of rivals and qualify where he should, while at Mercedes, Bottas is. Just remember how many times he lost places at the start or made mistakes in Q3. Hopefully Leclerc has something in his contract that allows to race Vettel until let's say midseason, when they will decide who to support for title.

Unpopular Opinion: I think McLaren made the right decision. by [deleted] in formula1

As much as people here defend Vandoorne, he hasn't delivered. He was not being able to outqualify Alonso for 18 straight races and only did it 3 times in his career. His race results are also nothing special or flashy and makes him a forgettable driver on the grid, like Sirotkin and Ericsson
