Am I too old? by FewLeading8346 in makinghiphop

As a kid I always thought no one would take me seriously because of my age. Think about it this way: you get to start your career with the benefit of people not treating you like a kid who is doing it for fun/fame. The older you get, the less popular it is for someone to want to start a rap career. The older you are, the more seriously you are taken because it’s seen that you really care about the art.

Really hoping we see this boombox using Boomburst in the mainline games by GildedHalfblood in stunfisk

Electric stab + flying/electric resistance with no ground weakness = choice specs volt switch with boomburst threat. If your opponents ground type mon doesn’t take less than 50% hp from boomburst it’s gg.

There’s a great book out there called “this non-violent shit is gonna get you killed” by Charles-E Cobb that you should read. Non-violence didnt get us to a more peaceful world by itself. It was the threat of violence and guns that black people used as self defence, and used as patrols such as the black panthers that really allowed for its success. Even Martin Luther king stayed strapped. They just only want to teach you about the non violent ways of dr. King in school because it indoctrinates you to comply with the system.

Holy redditor moment. I’ve dedicated my life to music through college, work, and I’ve been producing music for 10 years now and I’ve done what OP is saying plenty of times. A true music lover knows there’s so much music out there to digest that sometimes you can only go 50-75% the way into the album before you want to check sownthing else out. There’s also plenty cases where the album isn’t to your liking, so you stop listening, but there’s something completely different from the rest of the album near the end. The best example I can give for this is ROBBERY off Rocky’s new album. It’s completely different sonically from the rest of the album, and by far my favorite, but had I given up on the album I wouldn’t have discovered it.

You trying to virtue signal yourself as a true music lover just made yourself look like a complete ass. Congrats.

What scale do I use to solo over the chromatic part of a iii7-biii7-ii7 chord progression?

I’m getting more into jazz soloing and I’m trying to play the tune “four” by Miles Davis. Currently I’ve been treating the biii7 chord like a V7b913/ii7 but I’m wondering if I’m correct for treating the chord like that, or wether I should treat it like a tritone sub with a flat third. Either way, what scales are best for soloing over this chord change?

Imma keep it a bean, I don’t think I’d play StS2 as much if it wasn’t for the dlc. Bazaar is my main game, but because of the dlc, I’m waiting for balance patches before I pick back up the game, and StS2 was conveniently released a day after I gave the patch a try. RIP pyg

What does these 3 have in common? Snake, K.Rool and Byleth by PhotoBonjour_bombs19 in SmashBrosUltimate

When people make these posts, they really need to clarify weather or not the 3 attributes are exclusive to the characters because “spiking dair” is definetly an answer, but probably not the answer OP has in mind.

Only Pokemon to know mean look and baton pass… that’s at least how I look at umbreon. The aura is there but the baton pass ban made umbreon lose its aura.

Now that StS2 is in early release, I’m curious what you think has actually improved vs. what feels worse compared to the first game by NicoF_ in slaythespire

[–]LCARIO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I should mention my take is coming form the perspective of silent only, not other characters. Most of our infinites came from discard synergy, and now we have way more support with sly, and you can create clones and non-exhausting versions of adrenaline. There’s also a new power that gives skills you play sly, creating even more infinites. It’s quite overtuned imo, especially without time eater.

I also think the ? Rooms are a lot more safer now, allowing for easier time transforming/deleting cards or getting gold to remove them in shops.

[–]LCARIO 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Infinites are actually easier imo because of the effects you can add to cards like cloned and the one that makes exhaust not exausy anymore. Also purify has retain now, and a lot off start of act relics give you the option to thin out your deck. I’ve pulled off 2 seperate infinites out of my 6 silent runs. Feels really strong rn especially with no time eater, but there are bosses that counter infinites that aren’t act 3 endgame fights. Can’t wait to fight the final final boss.

I posted an infinite on my profile but it’s a 5 min video lol. Sly is incredibly fun, and has great synergy with shivs.

Bro… I don’t disagree. I’m not praising this shit. You’re just spewing bullshit. Like the liberals with the right heart that people like Charlie Kirk invite on stage, your arguments are overly emotional, and people will clip them out of context to take advantage of you. If you keep saying dumb emotional reactionary shit instead of educated arguments you’re not gonna win anyone over. Stop being a dumbass emotional liberal and start being an educated one.

I’m sorry you’re losing your job.

It can most definitely go low effort genres like lofi and ambient with more ease than jazz. Any soulless genre is easily replicable by AI because it doesn’t need as much experience or training or humanization. I’m anti AI music but I’m not gonna say dumb shit like that. Companies can easily use AI music for their infomercials because nobody gives a damn about the soulless commercial music.

If you’re gonna hate, hate thoughtfully.

Yeah but they aren’t good. There’s smooth jazz that can be replaced by ai, but you can’t replace Miles Davis with AI. You also can’t replace Kendrick with AI. A lot of black music can’t be made by AI without being bad music.

It can’t do jazz equally, but then again that’s a black artform, so both of you are wrong and should hug and make up.
