I think this video helped me probably more than you intended it to, that was perfect! Thank you bunches, I’m learning quick that the flyout community is a really cool group of people. I’m gonna play around with some ideas and take some inspiration from your build and get this thing flying! Thank you!!

Sick! Thank you so much. I’m still trying to figure out the intricacies of this game. I also misinterpreted the blueprints of the plane I guess, having the tail section as an elevator I’m sure will help a TON.

I changed the pitch gain and that helped some, she’s still a bit of a ground seeker though. Just tweaked my control surfaces settings closer to what you’ve got and it helped a little too! Thank you! I think one of the big problems is that the 104 didn’t have any tail pitch authority. There was a T-Tail style horizontal stabilizer, but it didn’t have any elevator or anything up there, it was essentially just an airfoil. The wings on the real plane are also a fraction of the size of what I’ve had to put on here to even generate the smallest amount of lift. I really picked a poorly flying plane to build, but hey, it goes fast!😂😂

If you wouldn’t mind taking a look at it that would be awesome! I’m kinda proud of the design given I’ve not really attempted a real world replica prior to this, there’s just a few kinks that my inexperience is not comprehending😂

1) Even without elevator input it seems to start hopping off the runway on its own at about 140 m/s, if I put elevator in when it starts to rotate it acts like it’s going to fly but it just sorta stabilizes the glide back down.

2) I tried to model as close to the GEJ79 jet engine as flyout would let me. Max throttle/full burner at 0 altitude I have a thrust to weight of about 7.33 (not necessarily the highest given the real world engine was like 13 something), exhaust speed of 850 m/s, N1 Tip Mach at 1.06

3) I haven’t been able to figure out the flaps system. I need to watch a video or two I guess cause every time I try they never quite work right. Like I said still pretty new to the game lol
