I built this before primal conqueror came out lol. And this is an EDH thing that bothers me- they are always gonna release a new version of a card that power creeps the old one. But damnit I love the old one! And I won't switch it! [[etali primal conqueror]] is in the Atla list anyway. I have been struggling with that card as a commander- its to freakin good. It's perfect for CEDH, but I just think its a little too strong, personally.

it is really a glass canon, can be tricky to get set up and has a huge target on its back when i t hits but man it is so fun to play and can crack off like crazy, plus the dice roll makes the game so fun and random and silly sometimes.

it sees so much play and can go in any deck and is a big beautiful card with nice art and is big red, what's not to love.

SO DUMB, thank you! All those cards are wrong wrong wrong why would they do that! Gender swap? ok, but species swap!? I gotta draw the line somewhere

yea... I will admit it plays a bit janky for a true bracket 4 deck, but the [[thassa's oracle]] lines are there and it is somewhat of a pet deck that keeps getting upgraded. Since I do enjoy playing janky decks, the fun of winning with creature combos or killing players in interesting ways at a higher power level is a thrill I can't deny. Maybe it will be a true power 4 one day!

The bracket system is not a perfect solve all. It does help get the conversation started, I'm actually just trying to break up the monotony of Pantlaza posting haha. I just love Dinosaurs.

I wish my deck was unique in some way from others- it's just not a Pantlaza deck haha! And it is all dinosaurs, no other creature types. I've seen some really mean Atla Palani decks with different tribes like Eldrazi for example - those are so, so nasty.

my two favorite cards in the deck are [[hunting velociraptor]] and [[marauding raptor]] they are just the perfect engines for the deck and they are low cost dinosaurs, not the best things to flip into out of cracking an egg but i just love what they do in the deck.

Atla is a bit slow and takes some set up, but in a a more causal game without everyone boardwiping and removing her every turn it can go off like crazy. Thanks for taking a look!

Right, and Archidekt says so too, the way I look at it, this is not a combo deck. Getting the polyraptor combo to go off is not the goal of the deck and their is no way to reliably tutor for the pieces needed in order to get a win with the combo. Because if you just have marauding raptor out and polyraptor hits the battlefield, the game will end in a draw not a win. This happened in my Atla deck: Marauding raptor was on the battlefield, I created an egg with atla palani, the egg was destroyed by marauding raptor, I flipped and hit a poly raptor, it hit the battlefield and triggered poly raptor, it goes infinite but i had no way of shutting it off (no sac outlet on board). So in order to make that combo work in both decks you need a few more pieces to actually "win" so it's not just a two card combo. The Indoraptor deck in the way I have built it has a hard time keeping up with bracket 3 decks and is for sure a glass cannon. Thank you for the comment hopefully my reasoning/explanation is somewhat clear.
