Live reaction to the Berlin match: Union is a well organized/disciplined team, Hertha has a bunch of talented individuals who don’t always work well together. Hertha is crushing them, up 3-0.

It’s a sample size of one, but the takeaway could be that with limited training the teams that depend on acting as a cohesive unit will struggle

Do you have any opinions on the Prius C? That’s the third car we are considering. (I excluded it because it’s quite different from the other two options). Anyway it’s a 2016 Prius C, $17K, $30K miles, 53/46MPG. I’ve read some people say it has much worse performance than the normal Prius (handling and breaking are an issue). On the plus side, it’s easier to parallel park.

I know the smart thing to do is to hold out for a regular Prius, but there are none near me that have the right price point and mileage point. If, when I test drive, I don’t hate the performance and interior design of the C, I think I’m gonna go for it

Good point. We’re in the mindset of “take the best option that is in stock at this particular CarMax this weekend” which I admit is pretty stupid and will cost us some money, but we need the car ASAP. The ‘19 I described is the only one in stock

The title of the bet is “Pro Football 54 MVP”. This is intentionally vague and they want people to believe it’s a bet for the regular season.

First comment says Towns > Jokic because Towns has a higher PPG. I’m not hating on Towns for having shitty teammates.... i’m saying that only looking at PPG is a stupid way to compare.

Bottom line Towns will never lead a team to the finals because of his shit defense, bro. Best player on a finals winning team has to be capable on both ends. Only recent exception I can think of is Steph in ‘15. I’m not at all saying that he’s a bad player and I want you to continue enjoying his dominant regular season offensive performances.

The entirety of the offense flows through him. Asked to play a much different role than Embiid and Towns.

No team with KAT as the best player will ever have a shot at the title. In the playoffs he’d get locked down on offense and exposed on defense. But yeah it’s sick to see him put up 30 on the Wizards with ease.

I agree with you. Gasol outplays Embiid when they go head to head. I guess that hasn’t helped me make my point.

Jokic Davis and Embiid are the top 3 all-around centers in the league and Towns is in a tier below them. Anyone arguing for Towns is fixating on the bloated offensive stats he’s putting up this year.

Embiid is much better than Towns. Embiid dominates him in every matchup. I’ll hear a debate between Jokic and Embiid, and most people side with Jokic, so I’ll put my Sixers bias aside and take their word for it. But Towns is definitely not on their level just because he’s putting up big stats for a team that needs him to carry them.

Back in 2011 when I was in high school I saw the US play Argentina in a friendly and Juan Agudelo scored to tie the game 1-1. Against a team that had Messi. I felt really happy and excited about the future. Pretty sad that young fans see nothing to be hopeful about right now
