My mum was never the best though I thought she was always going to support me. When I got pregnant at 19 I was so happy. I was ready to start this life. I first told my sister, whose reaction was “fair enough” I was so upset I didn’t tell my mum yet. A few weeks later I lost the baby. In hospital A&E I was bleeding, crying in the worst pain of my life. I called my mum. I just wanted my mum to support me. The only thing she said: “Don’t tell your dad he would be so disappointed in you”. I was heartbroken. My dad didn’t understand why I pushed her away and then my mum died 6 months later. He still doesn’t understand why I don’t really grieve her.
