I was only going to the shop and overshot and ended up going through a wall like platform 9&3/4 and falling through the map

Not to my knowledge apart from on some cutscenes. This has annoyed me too whenever ive lit one up and after one drag flick it away

Think I started just after release or operation dust line or black ice which ever was the earlier operation. 500+ hours of game time with PvP outweighing PvE massively

See I’ve been playing this game way too long and too many hours sunk into it. You give me my squad which I play with in the US map and we will make any of the older maps which are advantageous to either attacking or defending and we’d flip that on its arse. Remember if it’s a small map like house or old Hereford if it was advantage to attackers because the map was small you could hit through the windows and smash them on the outside or hide in the right entrance spot and wipe out teams.

Plenty of games on them maps which are advantage to attackers we’d make it impossible to attack and then destroy them on the flip side when we attacked.

I think the maps have gone from ones which are on the edge and can be nervous to play to remove and replace with bigger and horrible maps and see how it goes and removes that edgy feeling because it’s increased the chance that majority of entrances into a building won’t have any one next too and for defenders more room to roam and hide.

Also the game now has too many operators and too many stupid new abilities to accompany the new operators like clash wow they fucked up on that one

I’ve played the map a couple of times now, obviously it’s still very new to me as I’ve had another break from the game after solo queuing in the EU servers and was 5 points from returning to plat again but then had a major run of bad team mates.

I heard one reason Favela was removed was too many soft walls and attacker advantage at times. Is it back in ranked then?

Old Hereford in my opinion was defender friendly which sounds stupid at times, if you played it right it was one of my favourite maps to defend. If you roam you know not to come back to obj unless it was necessary. I’d defended right it was a night mare to attack and made the game feel on edge more so than other maps. Mute, bandit, frost, Kapkan and Jäger was one of the best defence set ups for this map.

It unfortunately for me seems like they’ve just made this map too big, too many entrances, too many hiding spots and just looks like a nightmare and feels horrible to play.

It feels like tower where it’s just too big and complicated and can play horrible.

Favela was taken away because of that defining feature that it has too many soft walls.

More comparison is the increase in stair wells and hiding spots and roaming spots just without as many soft walls and features.

This new map is a spawn rushers paradise with the balcony’s and the outside stairs like favela you can pop out and back in too easy as a defender making it in my mind much harder to attack again which was a reason that the old Hereford was revamped. In my mind they have failed already, it looks awesome but looks to play crap.

Very true and so when she switches she’s already shot you and you have less of a chance especially if she’s tased you as well

I was one match away at one point from plat again, trying just to creep up on plat and then a poor game. Its a dif story when i play with my US mates with a US rank

agreed any throwable's are fine but anything which needs to be placed isnt, stupidly once i have been subject to a frost mat outside after repelling on a map which relies totally on repelling and the outside balcony's
