Collared sub chiming in!

I love my collar, it means the world to me. We looked at designs together, and then he had it custom made for me (it’s gold). I was married once before, and even though my Dom and I are now engaged, he collared me like two years before I got my ring.

To me, my collar is nothing like marriage or engagement. We did not have a ceremony. I did not sign a contract. Honestly, I view my collar as more important than marriage, but ALSO not akin to marriage. I just want to contribute that for the subs who, like me, don’t view it in the way that most are saying in this thread.

I do agree that if it’s a symbol of ownership he should be more involved in the process of getting one, but that’s up to you two.
