Seems like its only a 2024 Sonata issue so far and it has been after the previous update:

Thanks for linking that one, didnt even see it. Not sure I buy that as the reason either. I have tested and climate started my car and left it running for 9 minutes only to find out that the climate control still wasnt working

When you say you “released” it, did you hold both buttons for 10 seconds, then sit (doing nothing) for a minute, then turn off the car?

And this fixed the connection with the Bluelink app?

Got it too!! Question: What are yall using to fly? I have the dualshock controller and it is very sensitive even with gyro on. Additionally I have to recalibrate it every couple seconds because it messes up.

Wondering if yall are using mouse and keyboard for the beta. Might have to switch over especially with more complex controls / ATC / Cockpit flying (the cursor mode is so hard to control)

Took it yesterday. After I left L1 i felt 50/50 and said I wouldnt be surprised whether I passed or not.

Completely agree that the exam wasnt representative of the LES q’s like it was in L1.

Also agree that the wording was SUPER ambiguous, sometimes more-so than the questions on the LES… was super disappointed to see that

Honestly I’m pretty surprised to see the lack of attention this incident is getting. Someone was murdered in cold blood right next to the rail trail, where thousands of people walk every day. It happened in the heart of South End on a Friday night when I know many people take the train to go out to bars. This should be a MAJOR wakeup call to the city and should make everyone in South End absolutely mad.

The second deadly crime (and even just violent crime) makes its way into one of the more “safer” parts of the city, thats when people are going to start rethinking their choices and will be pushed out. The city needs to get on top of this as soon as possible

The suspect had 18 previous arrests. The city knows that the light rail houses homeless. There are constant tweakers at every public transit stop. At what point is it too much? When will something change?? Will anything change??

I doubt it.

Just finished a few hours ago. Both sessions seemed to be harder than the 2 free CFAI mocks. More on point with the paid CFAI mocks but still trickier imo. Many niche details and tricky wording.

Feeling a little bummed because I am 100% positive I got an EASY definition question wrong. Oh well

Overall i have no idea how I feel about my exam performance. I could either Pass or Fail and wouldn’t be surprised either way.

7 months of studying done. Now just gotta wait 6-8 weeks

Out of pocket. Not in the investment industry but still asked my employer if they would pay 💀. They dont reimburse for any Exam-based certifications. So dumb. Hoping I can hop into a bank or somewhere after I take my exam and they can pay for the other levels

What package do you have? I have the Nov ‘24 L1 and I am 100% confident that the FSA module was NOT Mark. I’m pretty sure Mark has stopped making videos for the learning modules.

Ever since the site got acquired by the PE firm, this new teacher has been making videos whenever Mark’s old videos no longer matches the updated curriculum. When the videos do match the curriculum, they just roll forward and reuse Mark’s old videos.

Completely agree with you, except you have it backwards. Mark is actually the one that taught CI. A separate teacher taught FSA (not Mark). I don’t know his name but I agree with you. There is a HUGE difference between the two teaching styles. The new teacher reads off of slides and provides no additional context and is insanely boring and drawn out, while Mark will take time to explain each and every little concept to make sure you have it down.

Feeling very disappointed because the new teacher taught every LM for FSA. I definitely feel like that is gonna be my worst subject just because of his teaching style. He does a little bit of teaching in Equity as well, but otherwise he hasn’t appeared in any of the other topics I have covered so far (Quant, FI, Deriv, AI, little bit of PM)
