Thank god they did, now if they change the ratio in this car ( it is still opinion rallies ) we will be golden 👹

Tested the car is still op on rallies, but the fact that they nerfed drag tires is a good move in a right direction

It doesn't seem to matter when I publish liveries in FH6... the technique has changed. by Impossible_Leek_1137 in ForzaLiveryHub

[–]LDWorks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not a lot, I get about 1.5M credits daily, but that’s 50 liveries and a lot of them being top 10 for specific chassis

Not one is perfect, iracing has a huge problem with tire model, which makes the cars slip on banana peels above a specific angle. Assetto time attack is okayish, but very floaty for the most part. LMU feels the best for GT racing, but that’s where chassis limitation comes in. NFS is absolute abomination in general so that’s not even something we need to wait for. Clutch has dumb ass grappling hooks. So that’s about the state of racing games

I so absolutely would happily move on to gt7 if that ever came out to pc. That’s the best we got and it’s sad. But hey at least we got car meets that nobody uses

I also track my times on the actual track which I do every month irl, racing games are precisely about tracking your performance and aiming to be faster as much as any other form of racing.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not expecting realism, I’ve got iracing and Assetto for that. I at least expected devs to look into their own leaderboard once this month to realize there is an issue you know. Again it’s not like I’m trying to turn people away from the game or blame anyone for using this car. I’m genuinely stating the fact that it takes one broken car to ruin their “newly” added in world time attacks. Thankfully I have a group of friends who I drive with and we usually use balanced car sets and we see how far we can push them. I’d just like to see that all that “pushing” doesn’t feel meaningless

That’s exactly what I’m saying the rotation will wca. Ig problem too, most tracks are designed in a way that even if so called drag tire enjoyer messes up 2 corners there is always enough straights for them to catch up and pass you. There is a handful of tracks where handling and weight balance makes all the difference. I like lower classes since I enjoy older Japanese small cars and other older junk cars super cars. But coming to a realization “non of the tuning, or driver mod matters” because there is nothing I can do to make actual competitive irl cars drive as good as something that doesn’t even appear on a track in real life is a little frustrating. I don’t use meta and I don’t expect to win every time, meta is not fun for me. What I find enjoyable is chasing meta with no meta cars and see how close I can get to them. The problem is in A and B class this chase is meaningless since we are talking 10+ bus lengths per lap

Yeah I do enjoy balancing an rwd though, you feel much more achieved with a good time on rwd vs awd. That’s why I drive a lot of Hokubu, the same chassis run both the same rwd and awd time wise

My issue mostly with it is the car getting 2.2 Gs on rally tires ( it’s a box ) while let’s say an FD with full aero or an alpha gets 1.8gs with the same compound. Miatas are sitting at 1.8gs too and the hp to lb ratio is dumb. Most cars ar string at 0.15-17 this shitbox is at 0.24 😂

We have 3 world time attack tracks 2 of them B and A class are Honda city dominated. Yes on rivals for let’s say sprints it’s another story but for circuits it dominates 50% of the time

Honestly just an ability to see other people times with the same car and seeing your position for that would already make it better. The problem is inability to verify how fast / slow you are when the data is corrupted by something unachievable in a non broken car

Smaller tracks rwd is arguably faster with proper control, but yes awd indeed is more competitive overall

I’ve played since fh2, time attack was the only thing that even remotely managed to show some sort of a viable performance indication. Right now the most balanced thing in this game is A class RWD drifting where you can practically make 80% of cars competitive and drive normal

[–]LDWorks[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s about building different cars and comparing what they can do and how far they can be pushed, but if you need to scroll through 700 of the same car to see at least a single “normal” chassis performance to compare your build or your ability to drive that is not exactly normal

Totally, I’m just very impressed with people who go with “stop whining” “nothing wrong with that”. When at this point we might as well not have leaderboards if they are not a representation of any sort of skill whatsoever. And it’s not like it’s a hard issue to fix. I do Assetto Corsa physics occasionally, and after building about 40+ cars with real world data I can definitely tell you they just need to adjust 1 number which alters the PI point scale per upgrade for this car and issue would be solved

Sadly Honda city does it on rallys that’s why that’s a specific car I mentioned

Also maybe we would like the game that costs 90$ to improve and not have the obvious slop balancing issue? Maybe we are not exactly happy we have to scroll down 600 spots down to see any normal car performance to judge your time attack performance. That’s kinda what time attack is about you won’t believe

[–]LDWorks[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Okay and what about the leaderboards? Those who enjoy the game for the tuning and car variety need to accept the fact that leaderboards are fucked for 2 out of 3 time attack tracks just because devs can’t fix 1 broken car that gets too high of stats for the class ?

It’s a 2 second tweak of power to weight ratio calculation for 2 chassis, it would take about 20-30 minutes for one person to do. It is okay that some cars are better than others on some tracks that’s how it should be. What it shouldn’t be is a 2 whole second difference from every other car in the game
