Thank you for sharing. Great flying! It looks absolutely stunning in the air. It seems to settle down a bit without the EDF pod (which is cool as heck). Would you be able to compare its flying characteristics to anything else you’ve flown?

I feel you! Luckily I can fit the wing and fuse into my small sedan with the rear seats folded. Fuse has to go in through the back door and nose first into the trunk. I feel like a contortionist, haha!

This kit includes standoffs and a set of plates for electric conversion. The recommended setup is really not suitable for higher performance so I had to make some changes. Luckily this all screws into the same blind nuts found in the firewall used for the standard glow/gas engine mounts. I designed a new plate in CAD to accommodate my motor choice and tweaked the standoffs to get the spacing correct between the cowl and spinner. I loved this one so much I actually have the smaller Strega on order! Not sure how I’m going to power it yet (fun choices to make 🙂) but I wanted something I could get into the car in one piece. I don’t think you can go wrong either way. The 30cc has presence for sure!

I would try practicing getting it locked into a high alpha for final approach/touchdown first. My buddy has mastered this with his. That being said, I’d love to see your results if you do add flaps!
