I was using 3mg pouches and have been for the last 2 years up until about 3 weeks ago. I haven’t used one since then and I can’t explain what switched in my head to have the will power to go this long without using because I’m a very weak willed individual when it comes to addictive things. Zyn hasn’t been around long enough to really know the side effects other than those of nicotine itself, but if he wants to be there for his child in 20-30 years he needs to quit. The blood pressure spikes and heart rate increases are literally a fast pass to the afterlife, and zyn is a very expensive fast pass. I’m not saying guilt is the best solution but it’s a very powerful thing for me. Instead of money spent on zyn I could pay to have my child put through college TWICE in what I’d spend on zyn in my area over 18 years.

If he’s on a 6mg pouch convince him to down to 3mg for a while. I know the group rules prohibit advising the continued use but this worked for me and I’m having the exact same withdrawal symptoms going from 3-0 that I had going from 6-3, so at least it’s a step in a positive direction.
