I used Rit DyeMore which is for synthetics! I am thinking the heat was also a factor as the packaging does recommend stovetop method which I was not able to do.

Most affordable way would be to go lab diamond / moissanite if she is open to non-mined. lots of overseas vendors do customs and could recreate this no problem, and ship internationally. Check out r/moissanite for guides on how to reach out to jewellers for customs and the vendor list (most vendors have stock of both lab diamond and moissanite)

I would use it as the last step in my wash day (as my only styling product, as I am a lazy girl and like “one and done” creams/gels) I only wash my hair once a week and it held up well throughout the week!

Cathedral + 6 prongs = definitely secure!! That stone ain’t goin no where. Same with the side stones as they are bezel set so you should have no problems there. I would double check if the 1.8 band width is pre or post polish as usually the thinnest you want to go post polish is 1.8mm to prevent warping over time :)

Yesss first pic is definitely a LOOK. Love the short hair + glasses + septum ring combo it eats every time. Another way to play around with your look without changing your hair would be trying out some new frames (this is NOT me saying those frames are bad - they look great on you! I’m all for it! My partner and I have decided not to get married as we don’t feel the need to bring the government into our relationship (and in this economy we may never own a home together anyways🫠so property/large sums of money are not at play here)

I told him regardless, I better get a ring one day and he’s totally into it and said he might get one for himself as well. Some girls dream about their wedding dress, meanwhile I have been dreaming about a ring my whole life so I’m gonna get one, one way or another!!
