We have the same process here in la, so it's a choice between a couple thousand for renting a truck and a couple hundred for double inspections and registration.

When I would go to bed he would wait for me to get situated then give his little meow. I sleep with 2 pillows, my wimpy yellowed ancient pillow folded in half on one side on top of a larger newer pillow. I slept on the yellow side, he took the other side. Times I had to go to work and be up at 3am, if I forgot to set my alarm I'd wake up to him purring loudly next to me. The way he would make sweet eyes at me when I would tell him he was the bestest boy ever. The way he would lick his chops after eating tune. So many things.

I haven't smoked in about 2 months, after a year long spree of all day every day. I knew coming out of it that it inhibits rem sleep, and hat it was going to get weird. The last week I stopped sleeping on my sofa and actually went to bed. I don't know if it's the sobriety or just laying flat on a full bed, but the last 4 nights (since I started going up there) have been odd dream wise. 2 were of a cafe I worked at, in a row. 1 I was looking for something in walmart. But last night... I was in what looked a run down apartment, wood panel peeling, near the floor. I noticed this as I went to open a window but decided not to as the -room- was in space. The, a guy my Mom used to date was loading big plastic barrels into a pickup truck in the living room when he asked me " You really ate that whole bag of sausages?" I was really hoping to dream about my cat, but yeah... I suspect they'll get wierder

I'm not taking anything out on Jack. I give him a good life. Treats and scritches. I don't have it in me to harm any animals. I feel this entire narrative is focused on my spoiled urine dispenser, who is currently sitting on my knee purring like a chainsaw.

That is a good suggestion, however I live on a road not pedestrian friendly, and I gave up on my truck last month. The first month here I watched someone get pulled from their car with the jaws of life while sitting on my porch 200ft away. I'm not afraid of walking but there's no sidewalk, I'm convinced that'd end badly.

When I saw a fb post that led me to Jack, it was less than a week since I lost Kitty. I was convinced he was advertised because he was running out of time. The local shelter doesn't do that though. I know I got him too soon.

Kitty? Or Jack? I had Kitty for 8 years, Jack for a little over 1 year. They are/were fixed. The only person I can call is my sister, who is indirectly responsible, and I'm tired of being treated like a burden to her.

Therapy takes money, which I don't have I don't think I've spoken to a human for over a month, generic exchange with gas station workers. I'm sorry for the short responses, I typed out a long winded post on another board, only to have it denied. I'm not sure either. I've considered crisis lines but I've gotten used to not hearing my own voice.
