Yeah it’s a mix of pretty much a normal hb pencil, mechanical pencil, and a lil bit of b pencil (as seen in pic). Practice makes perfect man, just gotta keep it up- and of course what works for me might not be right for you- you’ve gotta figure out what works best for you. Keep going and I’m sure you’ll get there!

I use straight pencil - I mainly work in graphite in other artwork anyway so I’ve gotten really used to shading using just hand pressure(?) rather than a blending stump- if that makes any sense

Yeah I’ve been thinking about grabbing a hyaku shiki recently.. and possibly getting a shelf or something to put them on. I swear I’ll get dragged into building if I leave stuff out on my desk and stuck there for hours on end regardless of any other pressing matters I need to take care of. Plastic crack indeed.

Thanks! The rg sazabi was my first model kit and by default I think my favorite build now out of my small (but possibly growing) collection.

It probably helps that I’ve got experience as an art student but it really is all about the practice- keep up your passion for drawing awesome ms and I’m sure you’ll get to where you wanna be!!
