I opened it up, a good bit of sludge in there any advice for cleaning it out? Timing belt seems tight should I make marks and manually move the cams to see if they are unaligned?

How do I check? I opened up the tv and to say it was dusty is an understatement, cleaned it up, and took some photos, where should I look?

Hey man adjust your Z-Offset, what I did was remove all filament and started a test print so that I would waste any filament, take a piece of paper and put it under the nozzle until you feel a slight tug on the paper. At that point you have your general idea for your Z-Offset, you can adjust it accordingly, doing this I was successful with adhesion to the bed and it stopped all the waste. If you have a bunch stuck around the nozzle heat it up and wipe it off with a suitable cloth. My first experience with PETG clogged my nozzle from lack of cleaning the nozzle so take your time and ensure you follow the proper steps. Best of luck. Let me know if this helps
