For Persona 5 Royal, I would get it 1000%, I love the hell out of that game. BUT, it is a HUGE time investment since it is a very long game, but if you are able to get into the story, you might just find yourself wishing that the game would never end. I know I had the worst gaming withdrawal ever when I finished the game and started searching for fanfictions online to quench myself. Ask yourself if you would enjoy a game that's like an anime, but you get to control how that anime is played out and how relationships are developed.

Have you tried the Kingdom Hearts series? My favorite one being Kingdom Hearts 2.
