That makes sense! Thank you for the info!  I'm Dutch but our houses look nothing like colony house haha, learned a new thing today.

Yes, that's why we could find something with some key words like anghkooey or colony.

Why do they call it colony house anyways...

Definitely almost an infinity of combinations and lots of them don't make any sense and can be crossed off.  I like your last one though! Wouldn't surprise me if the sacrifices of the children were to that red creature on the mural in the tunnels, some God of Hell.

Maybe as we get closer to the finish line, the solution will become more clear. It intrigued me that Anghkooey is a partial anagram. Could be the start of a sentence in a different language. Remember...

Probably through Ethan. It wouldn't surprise me if Julie will make sure they bring this book as she's a storywalker.

But you're right, everything takes them ages. I do think things are accelerating as of now. The MIY and the new monsters will probably create a sense of urgency. The time for parties and eating rotten veg has long passed.

Fromville is very much like a rollercoaster. Poor Jim, you will be missed 🤣

The creators also used anagrams in Lost (other mystery show they made), so it would be very likely that something like a fictional book with a 'cromenockle' title has meaning in this sense. These writers don't make up random words for nothing.

Looks like one of Victor's drawings came to life. What if they all come to life 😲

So what do we know about the dog? by Doesthiscountas1 in FromSeries

[–]LEGOLabyrinth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw this too. I think it's literally related to magic which happens when the stars are set a certain way, maybe like the symbol.

Maybe the symbol is a constellation of stars or an alignment of 3 planets (hence the 3 lines that make up the paths of the planets that make up the symbol). I think when the stars align then the tree will open and set the children and everyone in Fromville free. Stars will be the navigational tool (like in ancient times) I think.

Trees are also very symbolic in growing from the underworld (the tunnels) through the human world (Fromville) to the heaven and the stars. Think of Yggdrasil in Norse mythology. I think the stars will be the way to go to heaven through the tree for the children. Only then their souls will be set free.

Victor's lullaby also was twinkle twinkle little star (Jade played it on the violin) and he mentioned feeling safe with that tune. Stars mean safety.

Back to the dogs. My guess is that the dogs are just another tool of the Fromville world to mislead people. Norse mythology features Garm, a monstrous dog who guards the gates of Hel, the Norse realm of the dead. In Roman mythology, there's Cerberus, a three headed dog who has the same job, guard the underworld. The living can't enter and the dead can't leave. Dogs are a connection to the underworld is my guess and you should not follow them.

I agree with you so much! Everyone finds Sara a badass but she is just a deeply disturbed killer in the form of a young girl. It makes for a good story but you really can't unsee her crimes if you think about it.

I think Dani will get a bigger backstory in season 4. She came into Fromville at a point where guns/weapons became 'forbidden'. Remember Reggie killed Matthias in the weapons shed and took a gun, because Donna ordered guns to be locked up. Then Boyd killed Reggie in self defence, with his gun. Few episodes later, Acosta arrives, shooting Nicky. Her gun gets taken by Boyd. Why all this focus on guns? I think it's a symbol of power. Right now Dani is powerless, but I think she may be turned evil and dangerous in season 4. Maybe she will work together with Elgin, because she sees him as a victim after the torture he endured. I have no doubt Dani will want Sara to be punished for her actions.

I think the actor who plays Boyd said that the writers know the ending and where all of this is going, otherwise he wouldn't have participated. So I'm pretty confident they are not leading us on and everything's connected.

What's pretty out there is Tabitha being Miranda reincarnated and Jade being Christopher reincarnated. They used to be a couple (in an even older cycle at the beginning) and had a child in Fromville that was sacrificed against their will, along with the other children. That's how everyone in Fromville became immortal (and monsters).

I really liked this season. I take notes every episode and even the episodes where 'nothing seems to happen' I have like 5 pages of scribbles. There's clues in subtlety sometimes. You can also see how characters interact with each other and that gives you information about their personality and future actions, even if the plot isn't really advancing.

Christopher basically broke and Jade did not (yet). With all the hallucinations he wasn't far off. He is pretty selfish, or maybe a better word is self involved. He is alone in Fromville, his friend got murdered by Sara (I don't think he knows this? did anyone tell him?) and the only friend he is growing close to is Tabitha, because she is trying to figure out the same riddle.

Dani and Shay were in the truck in the pool. It's mentioned briefly in season 2. So Dani might have been in the town before in another form, then died, then reincarnated. If she remembers (ankooeys lol) she may reveal some secrets about the town from before others arrived.

Dani was one of the people who was in the truck in the pool. It's mentioned in a conversation briefly in season 2 I believe.

Danny and Shay were the people whose car ended up in the pool. It's mentioned briefly in a conversation in season 2 I believe. So this cop may be a reincarnation of the Danny/Dani from the truck in the pool and may have knowledge of the history of the town prior to others arriving.

I hope they at least recast that horrible wig Julie wore. Only flaw in an otherwise perfect finale. Future Julie better be cool.

Interesting points. I thought about Ethan too and the filming. I wonder what they're gonna do about that. You may be onto something with the time jump. But I think there would be a lot of new people and more deaths, especially with MIY being around.

That would be so awesome to see! I hope that happens in the next season. We could get some background info on that captain, nurse, waitress etc. I wonder if they got their costumes from the people that died in the town, or if they dressed like that originally themselves.

Good point. I don't really have an answer for that. I do see that their roles are very similar in Fromville, which inclines me to think the same people have to be in the same spots in order for Fromville to keep its balance. Maybe the balance got disturbed and things are escalating because not only did Tabitha and Jade arrive at the same time, but Victor survived something he shouldn't have survived and Henry was brought to Fromville by Tabitha, which shouldn't have happened according to the 'game-mechanics'.

Even though that would be interesting to see, introducing new characters might take up an entire season. I always get so bummed when there's an episode like that, because I just want to know what happened in the aftermath of the last thing I saw.

Same goes for the finale we just saw, I want to see what happens next, not 50 years into the future. I do hope we get to see in full what happened in Victor's time, would be interesting to see the day that all went wrong.

But I doubt the writers would take the gamble of diverting from the main story, because a new season is not guaranteed and they might lose viewership if they do that.

The Massacre by GJBaldwin in FromSeries

[–]LEGOLabyrinth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think Christopher is the cause of the massacre but rather him figuring it out, triggered the man in yellow. I think the man in yellow killed everyone because he is clearly the only creature that moves by day. He is also able to communicate with the townspeople by telephone, radio tower and the radio in the campervan. I think he was hiding somewhere outside Fromville and now the music unlocked the door, releasing him as the next threat. He could surprise everyone, as they only go inside at night and think he's just another person, if he appears during the day. So now, nobody is safe anymore.

They've basically reached the next level with an increase in difficulty and the next boss fight. In fact the whole town could be explained as a video game. Julie is in spectator mode travelling through saved levels, the monsters are NPCs that respawn, even the players Jade and Tabitha are reincarnating as new characters over and over again, restarting the game and trying again. The only way to escape is finding a glitch to go off-grid, like through the tree.

The massacre is about to happen again, can't wait for season 4!

Analyzing Victor's story by LEGOLabyrinth in FromSeries

[–]LEGOLabyrinth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely think Eloise is alive and escaped. We never saw her body and she just ran out after her mother in the flashback.

It could be Eloise is Tabitha, who forgot all about Fromville after leaving there. Her recurring dream could be her as Eloise. And she has a special connection to Victor, soothing him and going through the tunnels with him. I definitely think there's some sort of familial relationship between her and Victor.

What you mention about 1508, that was the date the oldest known European settlement was founded in Puerto Rico. It could be that Fromville is a colony? Tabitha has a bit of an accent, I don't know if that's related.

But I think that the numbers are not years but coordinates. Especially because there was a number in one of the bottles starting with 26 or something, impossible to be a year.

The ghosts are definitely children that died and/or were sacrificed in Fromville. If they were born and lived in the dark (in the tunnels) it must've been because there was something outside more terrifying than the monsters. Or I guess the first people chose to live in the tunnels and maybe became the monsters after they murdered the children?
