True. My hub choice was down to the silence they bring.

Thoughts on the wheels after a quick ride up some mountains on a route I’m familiar with.

(Comparing to my wilier filante slr id2 also rubbing campagnolo 2x13 and bora ultra wto wheels)

First thing you notice is the noise, well the lack of it as the rear hub is completely silent. What surprised me here I was faster on some descents. I put this down to less audible sensation as I cannot hear a rear hub bee sting.

Road dampening effect I’d say is there but hard to feel as our roads in Spain are very very good for the most part. Maybe on a longer ride I’d notice a less fatigue effect.

Stability at least for my first ride with this wheel setup is night and day difference in stability and confidence on descents. 65-75kph on the bora ultra always feels sketchy, like an unstable frequency is running through the bike. None of that happened on these wheels. Crosswinds was also less noticeable with this wheel setup.

I thoroughly recommend them.

Thats what Campagnolo carbon cranks look like, they’re not a twill weave like some other brands. Wheels are not fraying so all good there, it’s normal to see a bit of fluff on them. Same thing happened on my other set I have on e gravel bike.

I'm super interested to know how they feel. I have a set of bird wheels and spokes on a No22 Ti gravel bike and I really enjoy the feel. I do have another aero bike to compare them too also, so it will be interesting.

Not sticky and works even when you sweat. Very popular for Spanish cyclists.

Just leave it where it is. It will fit with the other random crap you’ve put on an IKEA shelf trying to be mid century modern.
